Bots in aram

I have scoured the forums, and the only thing I see about bots is "report them." If this was working, the people running the bots would be losing their accounts and their money. But it hasn't slowed down at all. It's ruining the game for many players while no one but the botter benefits.

Is there anything that a riot employee can tell me about this being fixed other than "report it?" Play a game > 2 bots > report both > didn't have fun > play again Repeat for the last 2 months.

Reporting isn't a fix. I haven't see anything done.

Please someone at riot tell me that there is no way for you to fix this so I can stop wasting my time waiting for your to fix your game.

The problem is that making a bot is easier than banning one. Yea coding it can be difficult - but you only need that once, then all you have to do is make a free account. Even then the ban isn't instant so it takes time, and the people with bots aren't doing just 1 at a time - they have several running at once.

It's pretty shitty and something needs to be done, but without something like an additional program running to catch botting or something similar (which other games do) it's not really feasible. If it takes 2 days for a ban to hit a bot and only takes 2 minutes to set a new one then the bots are overwhelming.

Being able to report suspected bots in-game so an automatic system could monitor behavior would be nice though and might help some. Something that if a bot is found in the game then the person is kicked and the game re-made (if under say 5-10 minutes because it isn't instant to catch a bot).

There are bots in nearly every game, reporting them does help but just like any other game, they're near impossible to get rid of. These botting accounts do get banned, but it is so easy to just create 200 new accounts and level them up again.

Supposedly Riot's working on it.

Bots get banned all the time. Problem is it's too simple to make more, and they keep improving their AI to get around detection methods. They need to be hit at the root; the motivation for making bots needs to be removed.

I reported someone who bought an account (That was just a bot) and Riot said nothing seemed wrong. Despite the account playing in ARAM only and going negative in all games with flash heal and then suddenly one day the account is playing ranked (Not normals, ranked) and taking Azir and going positive every game with unique builds. But clearly, according to Riot, this isn't an account somebody purchased after it botted to 30 in ARAM.
