so im in game and im getting harassed to the end of the earth by the bot lane, NOW IM BANNED FOR SAYING SOMETHING BACK? This is probably the best example of riots great system at work cause go through my ban. yeah i told jinx to go fuck herself, but i was getting consistently harassed and the bot lane was relentless on making sure the game would be unenjoyable. BUT YEAH GIVE ME THE BAN RIOT CAUSE THESE GUYS ARE BEING TOXIC TO ME, ITS LITERALLY FUCKING HILARIOUS. anf btw people, bans are almost never lifted cause to good ol riot they think as long as there is reason to give someone a ban than why lift it? no reason for this to be something that is allowed when people are allowed to be toxic but youre not allowed to say something back to them. I did nothing wrong and they created an enviroment where i felt the need to tell them off. "why didnt you mute them" "you shouldve controlled your temper" why in gods name am i the one who has to take the high road when these people are sitting down in low elo being toxic assholes. gj riot im glad you promote the ability to create a toxic environment but not being able to reciprocate toxicity to the ones who originally shouldve been punished.

You don't get banned for saying something back.

You get punished for responding to toxicity with toxicity.

And then depending on your punishment tier, you get the appropriate recompense.

A brief explanation of how the IFS works:

The punishment system works on 4 tiers. The first is a 10 game chat restriction, then a 25 game. After that is a 14 day ban, and then a permaban. It doesn't matter what the amount of toxicity is, if you continue to be toxic, eventually you will be permabanned. When you're on the 14 day ban, all it take is one instance of validated toxicity to get your account permabanned.

You wouldn't get banned for just 1 game

Because two wrongs dont make a right! This should be common knowledge! So telling the Jinx solved what problem? Nothing! Maybe just mute them and report them after the game. That would have make it so much easier and not have yourself ban! But keep being childish and feel the need to talk back see how far that gets you in life!

dont want to take care of the problem ay? just want to leave them be and let them be toxic without saying a word right? cause its ok for someone to be toxic to you but when you start it back than youre the bad guy? and yeah guy it was one game

i could care less what the system is because it is flawed, there is little to no evidence of me being the initiator but when they start it and i say something than i automatically receive a punishment. this is a tool all well known trollers love to use cause as long as you dont cuss, or put yourself in the crosshair for a punishment than you can troll all you want to and unless the other guy mutes you, than you just have to take it cause riot promotes a system of little to no fairness in repramanding its player base for abusing a systematically flawed way to thin out toxicity in the game. but yeah write me off for some toxic asshole, cause i know you people love to jump to the conclusion "its his fault shouldve muted, just let them be toxic"

thing is there are other people in the game able to see the chat. it isn't just between the two of you and people don't like to see that stuff in their chat because it ruins the game for them too. you can reply to the douchebag but you don't have to use the same kind of language. if they are calling you trash or something just respond with "i'm trying man..." or "give me a break pls" it makes you look better and them look worse. i understand it's hard sometimes not to lash out and to be the bigger person but in the long run you get more out of it. is it really worth being punished yourself?

if you report them they get looked at and hopefully eventually punished. you got punished because either your words were bad enough or you constantly do this. you are responsible for you and how you respond. if you can't "fight back" more civilly then i'd recommend finding a different game that doesn't have many if any trolls. maybe something co-op and non-competitive?

Just mute everyone. Screw communication and pings. Just dont flame, keep losing matches, and that honor will go back up. Dont you even dare type in that chat box.

ignorant pawns still, dont know why i bother posting when all you get is the same trash riot feeds down your throat consistently. cant think for yourself so you accept the inevitable and decide that there is not creating a better system cause as long as youre part of it theres nothing wrong. have fun sitting in the blissful serenity.

Did you even bother muting them? Cz retaliating back is never the answer.

Did you also had previous punishments before?

OhThisIsRanked1/8/2018, 12:40:59 AM1 votes

there it is the consistent, "be the bigger person" retaliation that riot has instilled in all its players
