So i was just wondering if ping muting was really needed. I know it can be annoying to be pinged when you did something wrong or abusing pings, but does fully muting(ping and chat) your team or individual make the person perform worse or int since he/she doesnt know what the team wants to do, like take dragon or baron, since he/she muted the team.
well normally a player isn't going to ping mute you unless you are spamming annoying pings. As long as you are pinging sparingly, it should be fine.
It's a choice to be made by the player.
yes it tilts your teammates to be fully muted
they get frustrated and start performing worse because you wont listen
I mean if there's that one kid that likes to ping abnormally too much to be annoying, I'd like to have my sanity the rest of the game without being questioned about it or being bombarded by "missing" pings. If they really wanna fix it, they should limit people 3 pings per 5 minutes of the game. Kinda like how they do it when they ban someone for verbal misbehavior and limits the player to 3 comments per 5 minutes.
