Tribunal is awful.
All the tribunal does is allow trolls to run rampant while legitimate players get banned because they inevitably lose their shit on a troll and because there is a text record of that, and not a video of the troll intentionally feeding or what have you all it will lead to is more trolling.
Allow me to elaborate. If I go a store and rob the place while you watch and the store calls the cops to investigate the situation. When the cops show up, they decide that it is not strange that I am carrying over 1000 dollars and infact that the store should be penalized for sullying my "good" name. Since there is no video monitoring equipment, but instead just a microphone, there is no physical evidence.
After seeing this transpire....would you not be tempted to rob the store in the same manner? This is why there will always be trolls at every level of play, because riot has created a good portion of them through their poorly thought out ideas on how to deal with toxic behavior. They don't even succeed in identifying that there are more ways to be toxic than just in chat, and infact the non chatting methods of being toxic are far more toxic than any chat could ever be.
Allow me to explain why that is using my own games. I am playing a tanky support while trolling after getting a very unjust ban. I decide that i'm going to make it look like im going to engage a teamfight, but instead i will just go in and stun or whatever to trick my team into fighting, and then just tank the fight intentionally. My team manages to get a kill or two thus giving me a couple assists and making it look like im really playing. Hell, most of the time my own team mates just think i'm bad or are too happy go lucky to even say anything due to fear of being banned. I have even had people be like "good job but next time could you attack them please"
It is so sad to me that i can be intentionally throwing a game and this community has been so severely kneecapped that noone will even get on my case about it out of fear of being banned for calling a troll out on trolling. how sad is that?
