Was being reported for this chat log worthy of a 2 week ban?

I was ACTUALLY TRYING to not be toxic. I muted my team to avoid having to see them flaming at me, and the only things I even said in the chat were NORMAL things. The lux on my team got mad because she died a few times early. OH WELL. I CANT CONTROL YOUR ACTIONS. The whole team decided to report me after the game for this chat log. Most of my messages were in the all chat to get them to report my team for how toxic they were being to me. I do not see how this is justice. Just because they reported me doesn't mean I was being toxic. I was AVOIDING having to deal with this issue BY MUTING THEM. I have spent way too much of my time and money on this game to be penalized because someone doesn't like me. I hardly even spoke in this match. I do not believe it was deserved. The other matches that were given in the log were from MONTHS ago! How can something I said that long ago on a bad day count towards something like this? I have been TRYING to keep myself under control. Maybe instead of banning people who say something that might offend someone else, you should focus on banning people who are doing things like int feeding, afk, and greifing their team. I can not express how disappointed I am at this very moment. I should not have to walk on eggshells in an online game with the fear that I might offend someone else. Especially when what I said in this situation was NOT even TOXIC. Yes, I am upset right now. Just to flat out tell someone that they aren't allowed to play a game that they spent a lot of money and time on anymore because they made someone mad is mind boggling to me.

Riot should make it way more plain that report calling greatly increases the chance of you being punished.

Cool so I can assume that this is what I really got in trouble for. What a sad day when someone can ruin your game and you get punished for asking others to report them. Also, in situations where riot suspends or permabans players, I think they should allow the entire chat log to be viewed. What is said in the matches is purely situational. I don't think that someone should be banned for asking other players to report someone who is obviously doing something wrong. Thanks though, didn't know that this was in the TOS.

That's the thing though, I don't think it's in the TOS or visible, I think you need to read between the lines or be groomed on the forums like I was because I wanted to keep being a good girl.

That being said I understand that you feel kind of miffed that this is the large portion of why you got slapped with a big ban and on top of that in a game where you were trying not to be a part of the toxicity to begin with, but think about how.. unproductive it would be for you to dwell on what, especially since, once you know what is punished and why it kind of makes sense. It sucks, but it makes sense.

You don't need to have more people report them. 1 report, yours, is good enough to flag a game to the system. You harassing and using the report tool as a weapon, as it is seen, is completely unnecessary.

its in the TOS that saying your going to report someone and asking others to report them is a bannable offense

Thanks for your reply, I didn't know that this was in the TOS. I must have just looked over it. In all honestly though, riot should invest resources in banning those players who tell others to kill themselves, slit their throats, die in a crash, other than banning someone for report calling. Especially in a situation where a player needs to be reported for something like what I said above.

No, this is the chatlog from the most recent game that I received the ban for. The other two chat logs were from games that I played several weeks even months ago. I did not post them because I was indeed toxic in those two games. My point is that I received the ban after this game. Although now that I know it's "toxic" to ask someone to report a player for something that they're doing to make my game harder, I guess I was "toxic"

So basically, you were very toxic, and in this game, you were just a little bit toxic and it knocked you over the edge.

well you were baiting them to be toxic as you were pure toxic yourself saying that you muted someone is fine, but leave it at that and dont try to make them throw the game by further crying/trying to tilt them.

i personally dont have that much of a problem with feeding teammates, depens whenever or not they are premmade.

the rage below alone would have been enough to get you banned as you were a hell lot more toxic and raging than anyone else which pretty much ruined their game with your rage in chat

that wasn't even part of my chat log. I was thinking that but never said it in the game. Doesn't matter though, I know why I received my ban now. It was for asking the other team to report the troll on my team. Somehow that's toxic.

Why don't you just stop typing completely? Mute any teammate thats rude and don't have all chat on. Problem solved
