Permaban, please offer help & advice

I received a permanent ban today for toxicity. I'm not going to make excuses, I understand that I was negative at times. I know that I have to improve upon this. It can be very frustrating in bronze, when you're dealing with people who are afk, trolls, and intentional feeders... & I let my temper get the best of me at times. For example, in game 1 listed below Elise was our jungler.Sivir accidentally killed grump and took the XP from our jungler Elise. So Elise ran up to the bottom enemy turret and gave them a free kill. She did this two more times before telling us that she would play for real. The rest of the match she jungle and did not help the team and team fights... So we were playing at 4 vs 5 with an intentional feeder. I got frustrated and I said some things that I probably shouldn't. Anyway, I've spent a lot of time leveling this account and buying skins, & I was hoping that I can get some help and suggestions on what I can do to get my account unbanned eventually. One thing that I thought of is that I can mute my team so that I'm not provoked by their actions or words. I'd really appreciate some help and advice. I regret letting my temper get the best of me... I know I shouldn't have been so negative. I was quite surprised at the permanent ban. I've seen way worse on a consistent basis. I'm not saying that justifies my actions, but I was very surprised that within a minute of the game ending I received an email saying I was permanently banned. It's almost as if this wasn't actually reviewed and based strictly on reports from the people that were in group queues with me. The last time I got in a temporary ban was about 3 months ago, and I've had a very difficult couple of days. I shouldn't have taken that out on my teammates. So can I get some advice and suggestions on how to get my account unbanned so that I can redeem myself?

Make another account. Permanent bans means permanent bans. Those players made other accounts. The cases in which you're referring to are professional career suspensions based on ingame actions. Forg1ven was a player who received a professional ban (his original accounts were never unbanned), but professional LCS bans are not permanent. Incarnati0n (Jensen) was given an indefinite ban for DDOSing during games, but this was indefinite in regards to professional play. The accounts in question were banned permanently. Accounts can be banned permanently; they are never unbanned unless it was unjust ban to begin with. People in those positions make other accounts. However, in regards to professional status, players like Forg1ven and Jensen were actually reviewed as individuals, not accounts, and given personal restrictions; this does not stop them from creating new accounts and playing the game.

Ok, well if it's final then I have to deal with it...it's a shame that I lost all that money that I used to buy RP with...I've learned a few lessons from this experience :(

Unfortunately there's no coming back from a permanent ban. All people get 2 chat restrictions and a 14 day ban. If you don't reform after that you are permanently banned.

As far as advice on your new account, try to always remember that these are strangers you are dealing with. If you wouldn't say this stuff to someone when meeting them in real life for the first time then you shouldn't do it in the video game.

I try to minimize my communication to pings and "gj." Most of the time any more communication is just a waste of your APM. Would you listen to some random person flaming you or telling you how to play? Then why do you think other people are going to listen to you? Even if you are right the vast majority of people will dismiss you if you say something in a disrespectful way (just like in real life.) At the end of the day there's no point to flaming people because it isn't going to help you win and it risks your account getting banned.

Try not to focus on what your team is doing wrong. You can't control their actions. Rather, you should focus on what YOU are doing wrong since you are the only person you can control. You know that you have lots that you need to improve on so instead of wasting time pointing out the flaws of other focus on improving yourself and you'll climb despite getting feeders/trolls/afkers.

No problem man. Always remember that you are in charge of your emotions, not the other way around. You can't change the trolls but you can change how you react to them. You can't make your teammates better but you can make yourself better. If you lead by example then other people will follow you.

I understand what the word means, but after doing some Google searches I see that some professional players that received permanent bans we're given access to their accounts to play again... Some article cited that they are able to redeem themselves through good behavior, so I was hoping for some input on that... But thank you for taking the time to read this and reply :-)

Well you're Bronze 5, and your chat logs were nothing new & different compared to the other 3645382028462 permaban threads I have read. So nope, it's highly guaranteed that your account will never be unbanned, considering the fact that you blew the chance to reform after you were given 2 chat restrictions & 14 days suspension.

But do continue to believe of you being able to be unbanned in your own little Dreamland.

Why did you point out that he's bronze 5? Is it even relevant? The fact that someone is bronze doesn't make their argument irrelevant. That's like if I said, because you were silver last season, your argument is irrelevant (which it is), now how does that make you feel?

Thank you...you got the point. Preferential treatment has been given to pro players in the past. Some of them admitted to DDoS hacking...I simply had some bad days here and there ove rthe last 4-5 months...not that it is a good excuse, but it happens and I handled it poorly. I've seen way worse, including death threats, suicide suggestions and racial/ethnic slurs from players who still play today. I know I'm being judged basae don my behavior, and not theirs, but since the perman-ban came instantly I know that it wasn't reviewed by anyone and was an automated process. What the chat logs I posted don't show are the comments of others. I am generally a team player and have a sunny disposition, but when provoked I do react at times. Not saying that it excuses my actions, but I think a perma-ban is a little bit of an over-punishment. I don't know what to say...I regret allowing my emotions to get the best of me. This is a competitive game, and I like to win. When Elise intentionally fed because Sivir accidentally took Gromp, it was frustrating. When Leona in another game listed called me a "Nggr" in prematch chat, it carried over into the game. I wish they included everyones chat logs from the games listed so that it shows that Im a good sport that simply reacted to someone who provoked me, and that I wasn't the provoker. It wouldn't justify my actions, but I think I'd be judged much differently.

i just read the article and im pretty sure his main account never got unbanned. it was the "all future accounts will be permabanned on sight" thing that got lifted. he's allowed to play on an alt account now.

Do you have a link? There were some pro players that had their bans from profession play lifted but I don't think any of them ever got their original accounts unbanned.

Ya, that was the case I was thinking of. I'm pretty sure he didn't get any accounts unbanned. He was just allowed to create new accounts again and allowed back into competitive play.

Then "unbanning" was basically removing a ban on sight order for any accounts he created which is a completely nonstandard punishment.

Im not sure. They can't ban him from making new accounts if he used a different e-mail address and had a different ISP then when he got banned, so Im inclined to think that his ban was lifted. If they banned his IP address a new provider would not indicate to Riot who he was.

They can't stop him from making new accounts, but there aren't that many players at that level so it probably isn't that hard to track him. I don't know any specifics of how they enforced it, but that was the policy, any new accounts discovered to be his were instantly permanently banned.

This actually happens in all ELO. Infact, low Plat is worse when it comes to this stuff.

I have seen so much more toxicity since they got rid of the Tribunal it's not funny....in a way, not having the Tribunal to make diplomatic decisions encourages poor behavior IMO

I think the worst thing about not having the Tribunal is lack of transparency.. The ONLY was we know if reports are doing any good at all... is by the people who post here on the forums that they were chat restricted, banned etc...

So this leads to a lot of people believing that reporting does NO good.

I have only read a little, but first of all, don't ask for a report from the other team. Riot has specifically said they do not want players asking other players to report someone. One report is the same has four.

I think you misunderstood..I never asked for a report..I mentioned it would be helpful if the chat logs showed all players commentary. It could indicate that someone was provoked, or not. If someone pushes another enough, wouldn't it be reasonable to expect the person being pushed to defend themselves eventually? If they were pushed several times and eventually hit back and hit harder, it doesn't mean they were innocent, but it does show that they showed restraint and were provoked, and eventually responded accordingly. I've always understood that to be a diplomatic approach and way of reasoning.

Your account is screwed and you had to of been warned before Your toxic as hell dude. Here let me give u advice. I used to be toxic for a long time when I started a year and a half ago. Then I stopped playing ranked and just played normals and had fun with it. After I saw how negative toxic players hurt the teams chances of winning I got slowly less n less toxic. Then finally once I went back to ranked I immediately started climbing. Jus spam norms games for a long ass time til you feel your ready and can control your silly banter

Edit: Also why the hell are you trying to have a long dick contest with random people on a game dude? YOU WILL NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN. They don't care if your good n having a bad game or if you suck and are having a good game or whatever. Just ignore them and stop talking! And holy shit your toxic the second u get in the game. Your like the worst type of toxic lol

Try focusing on your own game and not on others, and not only will you be a much better player, but you won't get banned.
