Am I in the wrong here?

So as a recently "reformed player" I need to ask this. I've gotten banned plenty of times so I tried not being toxic and bam it worked. I don't type anything in chat. Ever. Even if I get flamed, never feed anymore etc, it's hard as fucking hell but I do it. However in this situation what do you think?

So I usually just play "non meta picks" like adc mid and top and all that and lots of times I don't do good because of it and I get blamed and I guess you can say some games are my fault however I'm not trolling. This is obviously ranked but lower elo. You don't even want to know what my win rate is with them is.

Now I know it isn't against the rules to play non meta but like someone said to me "it's being selfish". If you are wondering why don't I play adc bot lane it's because I don't like dealing with supports and prefer solo.

And ofc I get reported all the time for "trolling"

Yes and no. Always check if your team is OK with it. If they aren't then you're bring selfish if they are go for it. Remember it's a team game and it starts is champion select.

it's hard as fucking hell but I do it.

Isn't it though? The system legit asks you to act like Barney the Dinosaur in order to survive.

Most people aren't going to be happy if you pick off meta picks, even in norms, and that's myself included. I'm honestly probably reporting you for negative attitude for doing it and if you do bad, it's going to be intentional feeding for me.

"If you are wondering why don't I play adc bot lane it's because I don't like dealing with supports and prefer solo."

Then just learn real mid/top/jg champs. Then you can play solo AND not piss off your teams. Best of both worlds, really.

I stay botlane partially because I like the 2v2 mechanics, but I can understand why someone would not like that. But if that's the case, you really should learn to play closer to meta to avoid friction with your teams. Or play normals. Either way, in ranked, I'm trying to improve my rank, and losing because someone is playing Jinx Jungle (happened recently) is really upsetting.

It's not bannable, but you're an asshole for doing it in ranked.

I'd say you are pretty much part of the cancer that is eating away at LoL, yes.

Yes. You're wrong. Play bot games if you want to do whatever you feel like. When you play with other people against a live team you're basically handing the game to the other team if you're playing off meta AND doing it poorly.

Off Meta can work... it can... but if you're feeding, it doesn't matter what champ you're on or what lane you're in. If you lose the lane it's your fault.

Well I'm low elo too and still I'm not a huge fan of having adc mids in my ranked (except if they're very good but that never happened) U should do it on normals, cuz there is no climbinig there

My question is why do you want to play ADC types in these lanes. You admit that you have losing rates for them. I would assume at this point that you know you are going to lose the game if you make this choice, so why do it in a competitive format; IE rank?

Riot looks to game trends to see if it is a bad game for int feeding/trolling, but if you have the same game trend all the time; i am very surprised that you have not been banned. I am pretty sure that if they were phrasing there reports better the system would nail you for track record (IMO)

The fact that you want to play ADC as a solo laner; says that you do not understand: what the game is, why things are the way they are, how game play functions, and it is a team game.

You are obviously not attempting to be better and are actively attempting to hurt your teams win chances.

ShinkoMinori (NA) - 5 minutes ago The summoner code says you should rather pick something you don't know how to play than something you want to play but your team needs otherwise. Meaning non meta picks are trolling if your team needs you to be meta.

Really, can you give me a quote of that ?

Why not jungle too? And btw team comp alone can win/lose a game. Also try out gnar top, kennan mid, top, sup and Quinn at um everything. These are not troll picks. Albeit sup quinn but that blind op and black cleaver and spell theif to cure mana and get armor shred with godlike warding and roams not that troll especially n low elo where you can legit carry as a marksman support and no gold. Try twitch mid and jung too. May not be meta but if it works do what you have fun with and if you learn and wim ppl wont report as much
