I just got suspended and I think it was completely undeserved.

I just got suspended for 14 days I'm absolutely furious, It was because I said kys 4 times IN AN URF GAME where I was completely fucking around, I've never been banned/suspended before, I'm very rarely toxic I try my best to be positive and to win games. Admittedly riot probably doesn't care about this fact but I was joking every single time, it's just my type of humor but again riot probably doesn't care, which is my fault I probably should have been more careful. But I don't understand why I get suspended when I'm generally a non toxic player, I jokingly said those words IN AN URF GAME where no one was taking the game seriously but players who Int, troll, flame and AFK in normal/ranked games where people are trying to win don't get banned? I've never gotten a message saying ''Thank you for your cooperation this person was banned ect." when I've genuinely reported people who were inting, trolling, flaming and AFKing. I don't understand how this is fair?

There are certain behaviors that are not acceptable, even as humor. Encouraging another player to harm themselves is one of Riot's strictly zero-tolerance policies -- right up there with hate speech.

And how can you be 100% sure that everyone in the game knew you were joking and that they found it funny.

If that were the case, you would not have been suspended.

You may have been joking, but someone was bothered by it enough to report you for it and its not a secret that its an automatic 14 ban for using that phrase.

Why does it matter what mode it is in? When someone AFK's because they didn't get the champ they wanted- you report them don't you? So why would someone not report you for a bannable phrase? You're admitting you said something against the rules, the rules apply to the individual and not comparatively.

Just take your slap on the wrist and realize that, that phrase is not allowed.

Although KYS is a large internet meme at this point, when taken literally it can have serious implications. I know it may have lacked malicious intent but it's still against the rules no matter what. Sorry about the suspension [sg-ezreal]

I know you're a person who enjoys joking around with people and stuff, and you're probably a very enjoyable person irl, but you need to understand the possible effect of your words. Sure, most people on the Internet will ignore your statement or would take it as a joke, but you need to think of the minority, the people who are experiencing depression, or any other mental illness. They probably play this game to seek some enjoyment in life, to free themselves from their troubles, and telling them to harm themselves is no help for their situations. Just please be more mindful in what you say, or the next tier of punishment you'll be facing is a permaban. Is that really worth a "joke"?

I don't understand how "kys" is taken as a joke. Like, there's a lot of phrases that you can use, and instead you use "kys"? That's some fucked up sense of humour LOL
