Should I contact Riot support about my case, or was the punishment just and accept my punishment?

So yesterday I was, unfortunately, chat restricted for 10 games due to me being toxic in the game. I admit I was being toxic and there's no excuse for that, but I believe my punishment was way too severe given I had no previous punishments on this account, and I was honor level 3 before they reset me for this punishment.

I was only given one game as evidence when they told me I was chat restricted. Here's what I said:

Game 1 In-Game PrisonNightmare: their mid and adc are duod PrisonNightmare: so expect talonr oaming bto a lot lol PrisonNightmare: we have a stronger lvl 1 i think right? PrisonNightmare: we could invade PrisonNightmare: eh nah PrisonNightmare: brand kinda fucky too when it comes to lvl 1 invades PrisonNightmare: 30iq PrisonNightmare: 300 PrisonNightmare: ? PrisonNightmare: wait olaf u werent ganking bot? PrisonNightmare: mb then PrisonNightmare: i swear i saw you coming down so i went in lol PrisonNightmare: it was pinged PrisonNightmare: a long time ago PrisonNightmare: wym lol PrisonNightmare: kai didnt ult PrisonNightmare: rest did PrisonNightmare: can we just ff15 lol PrisonNightmare: how PrisonNightmare: is it posssible PrisonNightmare: to die 5 times PrisonNightmare: imn 10 mionutes PrisonNightmare: i dont think we win trades but alright PrisonNightmare: last time i did hook we got fu cked PrisonNightmare: ill hook more tho ig PrisonNightmare: if i try to walk PrisonNightmare: uo PrisonNightmare: ui due PrisonNightmare: wow PrisonNightmare: what a surpsise PrisonNightmare: i fucked died PrisonNightmare: i was knocked up PrisonNightmare: you fucking PrisonNightmare: r%%%%% PrisonNightmare: olaf PrisonNightmare: has not PrisonNightmare: ganked us once PrisonNightmare: fuck PrisonNightmare: you miss 100% of the hooks you dont try PrisonNightmare: ;) PrisonNightmare: honestly at tis point im playing on auto pilot PrisonNightmare: this game is over already PrisonNightmare: why didnt my ult go off wtf PrisonNightmare: better jg and top wins :///// PrisonNightmare: gg PrisonNightmare: not rly PrisonNightmare: my man never played for drakes pog PrisonNightmare: never ganked bot once PrisonNightmare: and when he "ganked" PrisonNightmare: they were either terrible or he inted PrisonNightmare: just like he did top PrisonNightmare: i played like shit too PrisonNightmare: but fuck me man these guys PrisonNightmare: lol im good PrisonNightmare: mute me PrisonNightmare: go to normals and learn how to play jg before coming into ranked PrisonNightmare: unfortunately PrisonNightmare: GG PrisonNightmare: Ez

I know what I said was toxic, but even so, I don't think this game alone should warrant an automatic 10 game chat restriction, especially since I had no previous infractions at all and I was in good standing. Again, this was also the only game they showed as evidence as well, proving that this was a one time case. Shouldn't I have at least been given a warning or at most just give me a 1-3 chat restriction punishment? I don't know, maybe it was justified but I just wanted to see what you guys thought. Thanks.

The first punishment for any (standard) chat related offense is always a 10 game chat restriction. Following that it's a 25 game chat restriction, a 14 day gameplay suspension, and finally, a permanent suspension.

I think you should just accept this punishment as is and keep it as a reminder to not respond to anyone who's giving you a hard time. I understand you may have been frustrated but you definitely went a little overboard when you called your teammate a "fucking ret%%d" and then continued to go back and forth with them for the remainder of the game.

That being said, I also think you should accept this punishment because I honestly don't believe Riot support would overturn it. You can try, but don't be surprised if they deny the appeal. In the future, just keep a cool head and mute anyone who gives you a hard time; negativity and flaming isn't justified because someone else started it.

Well, a 10 game chat restriction is the lowest punishment, and i think that's too low for someone calling people R*tards in-game. If i was you i would be happy that i only recieved a 10 game and not a 2 week.

Plus that's not even the only bad thing you did. Most of this is flaming and unsportsmanlike conduct. There's no reason to flame someone nomatter what gamemode or reason you have.

you got off lightly...

I have seen harsher punishments for less.

Next time, try to help your fellow players with play tips instead of flaming... and most importantly.. No one is responsible for your poor play expect you.. The jungler is not under any obligation to gank your lane unless your a pre-made team with an actual strategy.

just accept it. riot never appeals restrictions or bans for any reason.

Just accept it. Thats pretty obvious rule breaking, and you got the first tier in the tier of punishments. (As in, the least severe punishment)

Thats just the system working as intended and there is no error that needs reversing.

You weren't punished for misbehaving in one game. You were punished for misbehaving in one more game, in a consistent pattern of negative behavior that breaks the game's rules. Additionally, the reform card doesn't always show all the matches that led to your punishment: it randomly selects up to several matches. You might see three matches, but you also might see as few as one, even for players whose punishment stems not from a small number of egregious infractions but rather from dozens of instances of mild toxicity. The purpose of the reform card is to tell you how to reform, so it shows you an example of the behavior that prompted your punishment and explains that such behavior is inappropriate and should be avoided if you want to maintain an account in good standing.

Your opinion of the rules is of zero relevance. When a cop stops you for going 40 in a 25 zone, you can claim "I think the limit should be 45 here" all you want. You're still getting a ticket. If a librarian asks you to keep your voice down while you use the facilities, shouting that libraries should be loud will simply get you escorted out. If you go to a friend's house who insists that you remove your shoes while you're in their home, "that's a stupid rule and I do what I want" will lose you a friend. If you are using someone else's services, facilities, equipment, etc., you abide by their rules or you deal with the consequences. If you think the rules should change, that is a completely different conversation (and I wouldn't give a plugged nickel for your chances at convincing Riot to change their rules to allow behavior like yours).

From Riot's support knowledgebase:

We work with the overall community and within our own company guidelines to identify what disruptive behavior is and what the consequences for those behaviors should be. We understand that it can be difficult to know where the line is, which is why we provide chat logs and we have a few tiers in the ban process in order to allow for you to learn and grow.

A 10-game chat restriction is the lightest possible punishment, and it is your warning. You freely admit that you were toxic - don't be toxic anymore, and you won't get punished anymore.
