I just got banned for 4 months, checked my email and it said "Actions that have been performed on your account are in violation of the League of Legends Terms of Use. You can review these terms at http://www.leagueoflegends.com/legal/termsofuse
I have never been chat banned, I have never been banned of any sorts. Any info/tips are appreciated.
Deep Terror Nami1 votesThere's no such thing as a 4 month ban. They only have 14 day and permanent bans. What exactly did your email say? There may be a 'ban code' after the date which may give some insight to what the ban was for. Other than that, you will need to submit a ticket to request more information.

So, I have no clue whats going on and support is taking a while to respond.
Deep Terror Nami1 votesI'm not sure either. Player Support will get to your ticket as soon as they can, but depending on ticket queue times it could take a few days. Don't bump the ticket unless you have to, because it will go to the back of the queue.
ShinkoMinori1 votesHow much wanna bet you get your ban escalated into a perma? Coz everyone who has said anything about their ban having weird duration have had their bans increased by either to 14 days or a perma.
DrCyanide1 votesSometimes accounts get "permabanned" when Riot Support suspects someone hacked the account. It's their way to keep the account safe until the owner gets in contact with support.
