Permanent ban for no reason?

I get that you were trying to defend yourself, and for the most part you did a pretty good job of not flaming back. But arguing with people who clearly don't want to believe you is not worth your time.

It would have been better to focus on playing so you could minimize the negative impact of your mistakenly taking the wrong runes and summoner spells.

I upvoted you because I'm hoping Riot Tantram sees your post and can investigate this to either clear your name or prove guilt. Either way I hope you get the help you need. Good luck!

You were banned for 14 days from 19.08 - 02-09

Any kind of negativity will result in a permanent suspension as stated in the message you got after your ban.

And what do we have here now? Cleanse Ghost Rengar adc typing a bunch of irrelevant, negative bs throughout the entire game.

So yeah, perfectly justified permanent ban. Enjoy <3

this is what i wrote to riot support

Today I got permanently banned and I believe I didnt do anything to deserve it. So this happened: I went to play a normal game and i got a role BOTTOM. I took Rengar, and I didnt pick him to troll or something, I just wanted to have fun with a non-meta pick. Afterall this was a normal game, not a ranked, and in normal games i believe we can test non-meta picks and builds. Also I accidentally took ghost and cleanse, believe it or not. I had these spells set, then i went to edit my runes and i didnt have enough time to even save my runes, so i also forgot/ran out of time to take another spells. Anyway, I dont think taking cleanse and ghost is bannable. In the begining of the game my team started flaming me, and my support was afk. I tried to remake but my team laughed at me and said "i want you to suffer rengar". I died a few times in the first 10 minutes, because it was difficult to play 1v2 without my support. Later, he came back but stayed afk or walked away from me on purpose. I finished the game with a score of 2/12/2. Early game enemy's adc snowballed by getting kills from me, but through the whole game I havent inted once or done anything to help the enemy, please rewatch every single death of mine. I tried to farm, to get kills, to escape, to protect my allies if i could. My whole team flamed me the whole game even though i havent done anything to them. And If they reported me for verbal abuse, i havent insulted anyone even once or said anything negative towards them except for the phrase "my team flames me". I believe this ban is unfair and i feel sad and confused.

I didn't say a single phrase that could be considered toxic, also I did not intentionally feed. And is there a rule saying that if I take ghost and cleanse I will get banned? It's just unusual, but I can take whatever spells I want.

What you did here was that you argued with your teammate. Creating an overall negative experience for all players. The Mute function is there for a reason. It's there for you because Riot doesn't want you to continue an ongoing distracting and negative conversation. Players don't want to see your innocence in someone's opinion of wrong, players want to play and try to win. You should have done two things.

  1. Mute the player.
  2. Report the player who was harassing you.

And you won't have to worry about any bans or suspension. But since you got a 14-day ban, it went for a permaban. Never fight back or retaliate in the game chat. Never try to defend yourself in the chat if someone is harassing you. Mute the player if it gets out of hand and report them. That's all you have to do.
