Perma Banned For Flaming Intentional Feeders

Dear Riot, Today I was perma banned. I have recieved a 25 game chat suspension, and a 14 day ban on my account before, so I decided to reform and try not to flame anymore (saying racist things, telling people to kys, etc.). Then, the last two days, in Silver 3 (I know I suck), I've had multiple trolls, afks, and intentional feeders in my games. Here is my chat history and I just want an explanation for these 3 games when in all 3, they were trolling, feeding, and afk. I just want to know why they can do all of that kind of stuff in ranked and not recieve any form of punishment yet I get banned for flaming them. Like, if youre gonna ban me, I'd better see some kind of fucking ban for them as well because this is fucking bullshit.

For this game, I'll admit I was drunk for. If you want to count this one as strike, go ahead, but also realize that the enemy team was flaming me the whole game too, but I don't see them getting banned or any sort of punishment. In this game, GP dcs lvl 1, we cant remake, and so kassadin decides to intentionally feed from lvl 1 until the game ends and he's lvl 11 with a score of 1-11 and in the mean time, I'm 0-6 as Braum supp with my duo ADC Jhin and facing up against a Cait Leona which is already annoying as is, but combine that with the fact that #1 GP has been dced the entire time, for whatever glitched fucking reason we cant /remake, and kassadin after almost every death is saying in /all chat "Whatever idc about this game, Im in my series I have 5 free games to do what I want anyways." Literally walking into their team, flashing into their team, ulting into their team and spamming Spongebob quotes. But if thats not enough, hes blaming us for the reason we're losing like cmon bro?!?!?

In this game, Im playing as adc, with a random Bard support. First of all, this is ranked. He has flash and ghost. He does not start a support item, he goes dark seal. Then, after he dies at lvl 2 and at 4, trolling the whole time while dying repeatedly, finally gets a support item just to sell it to build full AD Bard. But if thats not enough, WW is either braindead, trolling, or duoing with Bard, keeps coming into my lane trying to "gank" and keeps flaming me for his lackluster score.

So, in conclusion, if you're going to perma ban me for this kind of flaming, maybe you should #1 take a look at the reasons why I was flaming (match history, other peoples chat logs, etc), #2 ban players for trolling in ranked, that shits immature as fuck and tilts the fuck out of players that actually try to take the game seriously, which is why we're fucking playing ranked in the first place. Idk, probably not going to get unbanned, I dont expect to, just maybe a little explanation and some help on Riot's part to stop players from trolling, afking, and intentionally feeding in ranked games would be fucking appreciated. I've been playing LoL for 3 fucking years, only as of the last 4 months have things been seriously a big issue, idk if its the state of the game, children finally getting PCs instead of consoles because they realize that LoL is probably the most perfect idea of a game ever created, along with the best esports presentation in esports history, or what. But if youre gonna ban me and not at least address the fact that others are to share in the blame, then maybe I was wrong about this game.

All the rest of the continuous harassment of your own teammates aside, there is no situation where telling someone to kill themselves is considered a reasonable approach to a negative situation. That alone, with no prior punishment, would've resulted in an account ban; however, this was also on top of multiple prior punishments and other consistent negative behavior.

If you're having a problem with someone else mute and report them, but do not engage them with negative behavior of your own because that tends to make the situation worse. They will be held accountable for their own actions, as you are for yours. If you can make the effort to not stoop to their level everyone will be able to enjoy the game more.

#1 There are no valid reasons to flame. Act like an adult. "but moooom, he started it!" should have been left behind a loooong time ago.

#2 Define trolling. Also: you flaming them only makes trolling worse. I dont know what you hope to accomplish by flaming.

Completely unacceptable. Drunk or not there is no excuse for that. In a Tribunal case most people would immediately stop right here and hit punish, but we're moving on.

Drunk or not there is no reason to act like this at all whatsoever. In the future if someone is harassing you just mute, report and move on. If someone is performing poorly, build them up rather than break them down.

So basically you decide here to become yet another problem that the team has to deal with just because you have poor performing teammates and just because you are bored. Also, more report calling as well.

Yes it stinks to have afkers and poor performers on your team, but becoming part of the problem just because you feel like it shows a lack of maturity and respect on your part, not to mention that it solves absolutely nothing in the long run. In the future just tough it out, don't call for reports and don't make the situation worse than it already is-that's just being stupid and selfish on your part there honestly.

I understand that bard was trolling but harassing him about it is exactly what he wants assuming that he was a troll that game, By not giving them their wanted negative reaction you encourage them to focus more on the game and less on the trolling (in most cases anyways).

My verdict: punish.

Conclusion:

You rage in chat way too much. Not only that but you seem to think that being drunk automatically gives you a free pass to be a jerk to other players: it doesn't. Yes it's frustrating to deal with poor performing and/or trolling players, but becoming part of the problem and making the situation worse than it already is solves absolutely nothing and is the wrong way to go about handling those types of situations.

My advice:

  • Don't use racist comments or hate speech. Not only is that uncalled for but it also is grounds for an immediate escalation to a 2-week or permaban status regardless of your history with the system.
  • If someone is trying to troll you and make everyone around you miserable then just mute them and try to play around them instead. By doing that you increase the chances that they stop trying to be a jerk and instead just focusing on playing the actual game like they're supposed to.
  • Calling for reports is considered harassment since you're just using that threat to try to get your way. Not only that but since 1 report is as good as 9 are there's ultimately no practical reason to do so other than again, trying to threaten someone into giving you your way.
  • Being drunk is no excuse for good manners. Now I understand that being drunk can often cloud judgement and make us do things that we regret doing later, I get that. But still though you can't just say "oh by the way I'm drunk" and expect that to make everything better as it doesn't. Next time just try to avoid playing drunk or at the very least just mute everyone at the start of the match so that you're not tempted to rage and flame at them when things go south.

My overall/final verdict of this case: Punish.
