I dont see anything inbetween working with these warnings and bans, majority is still toxic So just as an idea to throw out Either make everything punishable a direct permaban, no warnings or anything any toxic act results in instant perma, support tickets should only be for like if anything was hacked, or account transfer mistakes. Other then that dont bother even arguing with someone who got a perma. or Take away the concept of account banniing and let the community be, since it doesnt effect you in anyway, you still get money, attention and players for league. Yes this can result everyone being worse but it wont matter since it does not change the popularity of the game because people still play.

This has become a game that needs extreme measures, all these players in game and board posts about their long stupid chatlogs, is riduclous

and this is coming from me < someone < whos played in bronze, silver, gold, and highest plat 2 ( on main, cant go higher cause im not that good lol) and its still horribly toxic, (unless someone whos above plat can tell me it gets more friendly). So like yeah extreme measures? yes no?. Thats what I would do< anything punishable with a perma ban, it will scare the shit out of everyone who wants to try and act up, get rid of immatures and trolls.

Most people actually do improve their behavior after minor warnings and punishments. Oftentimes a player simply doesn't realize the extent of the effects of his negative behavior and only needs a stern reminder; Riot's goal with its punishment policy is reform, not simply removing all negativity immediately. While permabans are still a step of reform, since players can come back with new accounts and their improved behavior, making it the only step prevents the vast majority of reform from ever even having the possibility of happening.

My advice would be to use the mute button more liberally, and just work on moving past the negative experiences you encounter the best you can. It isn't possible to get rid of all of it, and it's not necessary either.

Holy shit...imagine what would happen in games if Riot went "hahaha, we don't ban for being toxic, enjoy your game". You really think it won't affect their profit? Do you think people will enjoy playing this game if you are allowed to do whatever you want and just be salty 24/7 without risk of being punished for it? Dude, this game would insta-die and so would Riot.
