How do you guys deal with delusional players in your game?

tl;dr I see a lot of streamers just flame the players on their team, but they never seem to get punished. Eg. "dog, woof woof" if you know, you know.

So what do yall do? Riot's official message is "ignorance is bliss" aka just mute them. But you can't really mute their play so...never quite figured that one out.

There is a feature in the menus, which is called show allied chat.

Untick the box.

i just play the game, scan the chat for slurs and harrassment when i have the time for it and when i see something worth reporting, i enjoy the feeling of contributing to getting rid of another one. it's small comfort to a loss but it's something.

I treat the delusional players the same way I treat everyone else. Honor for good performance, report for bad behavior.

Just because they are delusional doesn't mean they have bad behavior. I don't care if a guy think's he's LITERALLY Garen in real life. If he makes good plays I'll honor him. If he behaves, he's not getting reported. End of story.
