my friend go leave bustered because he had a firedrill in his dorm and was required to leave his building. After that he came back to his game and finished it. It was put into low priotiy queue. We waited the 5 minutes for it to end and sat in queue. Then one of us had to leave so he canceled the queue and left. Then we were put back into low priotiy queue! this is silly. 5 minutes is enough. 15 is too many, comeon now.
I think it's actually really forgiving. My duo partner for 2 years had extreme PC crashing issues. He would DC from most games 5+ times, I'd say 1 in 4 games he wouldnt even connect. this went on for over a year and he only just recently got a 5 game low pri que. I was really surprised the system didnt punish him sooner. Your buddy must be a repeat offender or rage quit
You have to AFK a bit more than once every fire drill for it to get you. I know it's harder for AFKing in Ranked, but still.
well if "your friend" just leaves 1 time he wont get a leavebuster. i cant even tell how many times you have to leave to get a leavebuster. i just had to leave 3 games last week and still never had a leavebuster so your friend is leaving games on a regular base.
and in my opinion leavebuster is waaaaaaay too easy. you should get 24h bans for leaving like all the time. 20min lower q is a joke, i watch a video in that time...
