Chat restriction for Asking them to report an intentional feeder?!

I got a chat restriction from the last game. Bot was 0/9 and still dying often so I said stop feeding bot at which point I was called a %%%. The twitch bot later said he was going to intentionally feed to annoy me. Why did I get a chat restriction for this? Is it because I said twitch called me a %%% in chat and thus got logged saying %%%? What did I do wrong here? I asked them to report twitch in all chat and got yelled at for being mean. I did lose my cool with all these trolls and kept asking for twitch to be reported for intentional feeding, which he was doing, going as far a entering their base with all turrets up to do it. Help me to understand this please! I really like this game but if I'm not going to be playing it again until I find out what I did wrong here, since I don't want to be punished again, but I still want to be able to communicate with my team.

You don't need to report someone multiple times for the same offense. Reporting it once should work fine.

I wish there was more clarity on this, but asking others to report someone else for you is a reportable offense.

Wow actually helpful, wish I had known that before I asked them to do it! Is there a place I can go to learn these other rules of chatting I've read the summoners code and didn't see anything about asking to report being a reportable offense. Next time I won't ask. How majorly will this change my profile am I just terminally in a group of toxic people now that have gotten restrictions?

If you reported the feeder then there is no need for anyone else to do so.

Assuming of course you don't make tons of false reports.
