just because i say mean things doesn't mean its not a back an forth thing i was teamed up on by the entire team an just because they had the majority report i'm the only on that gets looked at when in reality it was two sided just saying i dont think i should be banned for a two sided argument. in which hurtful thing were being tossed in both directions

in all your banning system need a little work maybe look at both sides before just taking the majority's word for it

First off, the instant feedback system only requires a single report to review a player's behavior for a game. So your single report against each of them does just as much as all four of them reporting you. So there's no majority vs. minority thing here at all.

Second, arguing back is not self-defense. Self-defense would be either ignoring or muting all your teammates for the remainder of the game, and then reporting them at the end. Self-defense can also be justifying your actions when people disagree with them, but realistically this doesn't actually work to get them off your back (unfortunately). Self-defense is not flinging the same crap back at them that they were flinging at you. Had your actions only been true self-defense, you wouldn't be here complaining about a ban, but those other 4 players might be.

You aren't defending yourself. You're retaliating. Self-defense is for when you have NO choice but to fight back; when you're backed into a wall / are being actively attacked and have no way to get out of it. This is a video game. You can get out of every single fight by muting them.

To use your 'self defense' analogy, imagine if someone was attacking you, and you could just stop them from hitting you. Period. They CANNOT hurt you, no matter what they try. That's muting. You don't need to defend yourself at all when you can MUTE THEM.

Also, one report does nothing different from nine reports. A single report will flag your game for review. Nine reports? That will also flag your game for review. There is no 'majority report' that will make the system one-sided.

Nonsense. You don't get banned for muting.

  1. Here in this game, talking back isn't Self-defense, Muting is.
  2. one report is no different from a 9x report, it just takes 1 report to review a game and not 9x report (so asking reports is the most useless thing you could ever do just saying), it's not about majority, you're not the only one that gets looked at, no one gets punished just cause they got a 9x report even tho they did nothing wrong.
  3. you can't talk back to anyone and expect something good out of it.
  4. reports don't get you banned, your behavior does.

Muting Is Your Defense, Not Your Words.
