Chat

Can Riot add a way to permanently turn chat off? This would help with the toxic chat talking. There is a ping system so no words are needed. If you want to have communication then use some voice chat (with friends). Solo/Duo there is no need to have a chat. And yes i know you can just /mute all, but you have to do that in the beginning of every game. How about just make this easy and give me a way to turn chat off completely. Yes there are toxic people and some here just to play. If I'm spending money on a F2P game and get permabanned for "toxic chat" then at least give me a way to fix this with out changing who I am. Some people take games seriously and can't control how they act "type". Give us a way to just to stop chatting all together. Easy as this (Settings- Ingame- Chat- On or Off)

The whole point of any sort of punishment is that there is something wrong with your behavior in the game/games you played.

You are the ultimate authority on your behavior. If you're doing something wrong, it's up to you to fix it.

It's actually not a bad idea, to be able to turn in-game chat on/off in settings.

Might cause some communication problems, but I suppose it would be turned on by default, so you'd have to really want it off to turn it off. I like it. +1

Players incapable of responsibly handling chat enough to avoid punishment over it are players I do not want in my games.

Players who cannot control themselves enough not to abuse chat are players I do not want in my games.

I am aware that there are real life cases of mental disorders that negatively affect an individual's inhibitions and self control. However, league is a multiplayer game. People should not be used as the outlet of the aggression of others regardless of the source of that aggression.

Either you find a way to control yourself or you can run the risk of losing your account. Those are your options.

They are good options.
