I just finished playing a ranked game with a teammate that afked. Nothing that I said was toxic, but you banned the account anyway? You seriously believe it's okay for players to afk & ruin games, but telling them that they're wrong for doing so isn't okay? I want to hear your reasoning behind these punishments. I am beyond annoyed with this game at this point. You don't manage the community at all & let trolls & afks ruin games, then punish players for getting upset. Again, nothing said in-game was toxic, but you STILL banned it.

If you would like to discuss if your chat is toxic/not, please post your full unedited chat logs you can find in the client.

Riot punishes people for their own actions. If that person leaves/AFKs frequently, they will be issued appropriate punishments on their account. Similarly, if you are toxic in games, you will be issued appropriate punishments on your account. Each person is judged on their own actions. Others’ actions are not an excuse for your poor behavior.

If you are 100 percent confident you said nothing wrong you can post your chatlogs, this has become kind of a thing since we found a lot of people actually lying about what they said and actually flaming a lot.

Riot will only ban people saying bad words in chat. Actual trolls and afk'ers dont get banned as much or as frequent because the system can't tell the difference between legitimate troll or just having a bad game xD small indie company amirite?

The bottom line is that its never okay to be toxic, even when responding to another player's toxicity. If someone else is behaving poorly, you are welcome to mute and report them after the game has ended, but their behavior isn't an excuse to be toxic.

My question is how is this chat worth a 14 day ban when i have been playing for years and this is "offensive or negative? there is way more negative chat than this and I get reported and banned instantly. It is not right that the chat does not record other players. And you can say "mute them" and or be nice to people calling you names and racist stuff but i get banned for this dialogue. Well I know that this ticket won't unban my account but as a person that has dropped $2-4k into my account I may be done with this game forever. Military individual and play 2 games on my day off and first report today gets my account banned for 14 days (game 1). funny how nothing happened to afk vayne or singed. just me. and malza was silver 5solo and bronze 3's and playing w plat/high gold then fed mid as expected tilting our team so they afk'd and i get reported.

(Ok this happened to me yesterday resulting in 14 day suspension, Oh btw you lose all season rewards and everything even if account is unsuspended by oct 1st. ^ I dislike how the chat ONLY shows what you say and not the trolls or people flaming in chat. Im told that I should pretty much play with everyone muted. only solution. I have seen some truly toxic players but this gets a 14 day suspension which essentially ends this account. Because if I ever play on it again the next report is a perma ban. Doesnt make sense. I wonder if all reports about negative players from bronze to silver are ignored because those players go OFF all game. all 3 of these games chats were results of a person flaming on me as a jungler because they would die and blame me and or ask for ganks when minions are pushed to towers and I say I cant so they afk. :note: don't play jungle as anything that goes wrong you will get reported or raged at and riot will punish you if you reply to toxicity. 4 years and I think I may be done.... my account has every skin/rune/ champ and now if i play it then it will be permabanned if it ever receives a report again... why risk it? gg riot. Begging borrower for some mercy but I highly doubt it will come. :/ was so excited to finally make plat. I don't want to start all over and make a new account. Bought every skin when they go on sale, military man and this is what I love "loved" to do in my free time. You won't get your account unbanned man. They only look at the negative aspects and your chat is the only thing visible. They have the "let em punch you in the face, afk, talk smack, or ruin your promos" and just take it and don't get upset or mad. just report them. (and pretty much NEVER get the report feedback notification) that your report did anything. They can be calling you the nastiest stuff but the moment you tell them to "shut up and play" you are now eligible for report because you offended them and hurt their feelings.
