I think I am personally becoming a very toxic player and I need some advice

I like to play this game. I like to play this game with my friends. I win some, I lose some. However, I've been noticing that I've been tilting a lot harder than I used to before. I get angrier a lot more often. I get headaches and I think I become much meaner person even around my friends now. I feel like the best advice is to take a break but I also want to play with my friends and League basically is a default game. I want to know if there is an alternative way to relieve the tilt from league.

Make a second account that nobody knows of in which you unleash your tilt and go back to your main account tilt-free

ähem

I mean uhh.... yeah take a break

strive for improvements you can control, not results you can't control.

Example: Get 85 CS@10mmins and not "why that dude didn't go in when I did"

My advice is do some Bot games. Can make a smurf and do bot games as well. There will not be a "win or lose" it will just be you and the team against some beginner bots.

You can give advice to newbies, you can enjoy trying out some of the wackiest bs builds you can think of, have fun, and still play. Thats like a quadruple win.

Plus listen to music, tends to help a lot.

To stay away from bans make sure u use /mute all.

Whenever I'm tilting I like to go to blind pick or unranked draft and try new champions. I like it because you cant expect yourself to do good, so theres no room for tilt, unless for some reason you get mad because you arent performing well with a champion you just started, but that is rarely the case. That's just what works for me, idk if it will work with anyone else. It also gives you the ability to start to main new champions. Who knows? Maybe you'll find your new main just by doing this :)

I think a lot of times, for me, it's a simple perspective thing. It never helps me play better to get too intense with League. I just try to take a couple deep breaths, remember that whether or not I win in League doesn't impact my life in any real way at all, and keep doing my best.

I was having a rough time at the start of this season, so I've backed way off ranked and starting playing other games a lot more; Civ 6 and Monster Hunter are both really relaxing compared to League, imo. Both still fun, plenty of depth, but no screaming teammates and very little pressure.

I understand wanting to play with friends, but you can still take a night off every now and again. Show up late and leave a little early if you need to keep the connection, but don't feel obligated to play game after game just because someone else is doing that. If you're needing a break, take it.

Take a break from League. For me, playing something else than League helps.

Hey brother - been there. I play all game modes, but mostly I get tilted in ARAM because I just don't like to lose. Plain and simple. I have unrealistic expectations of my team mates. I expect that people have been playing a while, know most of the champs, and have good mechanics. That's not always the case, and that's OK. I own every champ and have a decent understanding of all of them. My advice to you is to monitor your expectations and don't put your happiness in the hands of something you can't control. It may not end up how you want it to end up. Go into the game with a good heart, and maybe set up a time you and your friends can get together later in the day for pizza or something at their house. (I'm assuming these are people you actually know, not internet friends.)
