Riot doesn't care anymore

I'm not writing this to be a troll, I just want honest opinions. As someone who's played LoL for awhile I feel riot doesn't go to the greatest links to help with controlling player behavior. Example(trolls in ranked or people who just don't try) I don't care if someone messes around in a normal game, but i would like just one game where I feel like I'm not alone or I'm being ignored. Also reporting doesn't feel like it does anything I don't feel a direct impact or a sense of accomplishment that I'm kicking someone that might do the same thing to someone else. I would just like feedback and I want to know if I'm the only person who thinks this way.

You're not the only one who wishes we got more feedback about when our reports help, but here's the thing: they work. But because RIOT will not allow innocent players to be banned, they usually don't work fast unless it's an extreme case. Now, you can look at most threads on this board and see that verbal toxicity is easily and rapidly punished. AFKs get some leniency due to bad connections, but are also punished swiftly. Trolls/Feeders are harder to detect and punish without penalizing noobs, but also get punished. Hackers, Scripters, and Boosters get banned in waves, but do get punished as well.

No system will ever be able to remove jerks completely, but RIOT does an awesome job. I have worked for major gaming companies, so trust me, RIOT is doing more than most by far.

I agree with you, I have only once gotten feedback saying that a report I put in helped to punish someone for their behavior. The truly sad part about it though is that I hardly ever go a game without someone doing something worthy of a ban. Every game I play someone is either incredibly rude/offensive or just unsportsmanlike. All the feedback in the world wouldn't change the fact that the LoL community has become a horrifically toxic environment.

Such a misleading title.

Riot does care, but they currently are working on S6 in-client improvements.

we want reporting feature in champ select, we want report card system showing us how our reports have done, we want to be able to chat restrict ourselves, we want "loss forgiven" feature if someone doesn't connect for the first 5 mins of the game. We want them all and we want them now.

in reality, they'll still need time to produce these features, and it will appear soon (tm). Still hoping for the return of team builder.
