What is happening to the league community?

I have been playing this game for quite a few years now and recently have been paying more attention to how the average league of legends player thinks. I picture the league of legends player database as a single entity because many players give similar responses in similar situations.

First of all people cannot take any form of constructive criticism, any comment you make about a player's build will not help you or the player instead it will make matters worse. "Hey why are you building MR against an AD champ?" "stfu dont teach me how to play the game." -Proceeds to feed harder in spite of you.- This also stands for people that repeatedly die. DON'T ever tell a player to play safe or hug turret. He might have died 5 times in the past 5 minutes but whatever you do, keep your mouth shut . If you decide to speak up, the feeder will turn against you and call you asshole, dick, the enemy team will turn against you and you will be viewed as toxic/salty/griefer and the guy who just fed 0/10 and wasted 20 minutes of everyone's life is in the clear.

Lastly, Players that say, "I'm tilted." This is a special one for league. I don't know who started this trend but I have never seen such a huge player base that throws this word around. 2 minutes into the game our jungler dies to his wolf camp, he says "I'm tilted" and leaves the game. Or the 0/3 jinx, who is running down mid 10 minutes into the game because the game is "unwinnable". There are a lot more behaviors I have noticed but I'll leave it at that.

EDIT: Just keep in mind its not my role to motivate someone to not tilt. I dont queue for a league of legends game to be someones psychologist. I queue to play.

I want to finish off this post with a tip. To maximize your ranked success do not say a single word in game.

Sometimes you build against the enemy jungler instead of your laner. Sometimes you build for the health and item passive an mr item grants. Sometimes you have enough armor in your runes that a Spirit Visage allows you to outheal any trades or poke your ad opponent might deal out.

If a players says "I'm tilted" they are asking for help. Gank for them, throw some wards their way. They are basically saying "My situation is negatively effecting my judgement, and without help things will spiral". Help them! Be a team player. I can't count the number of games I won from being able to untilt good players that were stuck in a bad situation. Or even how many proceeded to carry my ass from me just backing them up once or twice when they signaled they couldn't hack it alone any more.

There are situations where immature people abuse the phrase to troll. But that seems to be the minority of situations. And again, can be fixed with some positive reinforcement from allies. They tend to be our younger players. Throw the kid a bone.

I am certain it is not at all new, been happening forever.

That sounds exactly like what stonewall008 said on his latest video and I have run into it in ranked (which I don't play very often paitially because of this reason).

I actually don't know what is wrong with these people what goes through thier heads. Why do these people seem to think that we can read thier minds and that we will do everything perfectly just as they want us to and if we don't we are trash and are causing them to Intentionally feed.

"opps I missed a cs"... "useless trash, uninstall"... "calm down mate, one mistake not the end of the world"... "I'm a feed now"

Avoiding Egos is the name of the game when trying to get a team to work together it is tiring.

What I don't understand is why these people seem to be successful in enough games to be where they are. They basically need to always win thier lane or they feed thier faces off. They have to have thier allies be perfectly up to thier standards or they rage quit. no one can talk back to them or they tilt right off the planet. How do they win any games of league ever?

Well the rhetorical "why" has been used so much as passive aggressive form of verbal abuse it's no surprise someone would be defensive. It sounds very condescending.

For example anytime someone makes a mistake someone will ask "why" like they meant to make that mistake. Like "Why did you. . ." ult/dive/flash etc. . ..

Usually once someone starts doing that it's almost guaranteed to piss someone off. Also those guys who tend to ask the rhetorical "why" questions will usually follow them up with some kind of insult.

Honestly I think you are cherry picking some conversation you had with one person. Usually people don't build MR against AD champs so if this is just a hypothetical situation you made on the fly then it's a very poor one. If it's not then you probably left out some key information, ergo changing the nuance of the conversation.
