Perm Ban Vs. Perm Chat Restrics.

I feel as though Riot should change their policy, so instead of having people who cuss, and are "rude" get permanently banned, they should be permanently chat restricted. It is an extremely stupid thing just to be banned permanently for rude behavior for many reasons. My first reason, is that it will only make someone even angrier than they are. They probably had a bad day, or maybe they are getting bullied in real life themselves, and League of Legends is like their escape from that, and then they get really mad at someone for making fun of them in game, and then they go all off, and forget about reporting, and muting. Obviously, the people on the game are going to make even more fun of you, and are going to keep trying to make you mad so you cuss even more, and do worse things (this has happen to me a few times, and I fell for the trap, thanks a lot for 2 perm bans on 2 accounts >_>). Also, I think that a perm chat restriction is a whole lot better, because instead of losing all of your money that you spent on this game, you would have learn to use your words, and become more strategic, instead of wasting your limited chats on bullying. I remember on this account, like 2 months ago, i got banned for 2 weeks without any warnings, no chat restrictions, no nothing. I got really mad, because everyone kept repeating the word. "Reported." which somehow aggravates me so much. So I report them for harassment, but I become the one who gets punished just because I was trying to defend myself, and was getting mad, so I let out a few cusses. I was talking to someone from Staff, and they said that they don't ban for cussing, but just for being rude, or mean." Finally, I believe that they should change it to chat restrictions instead of a permanent ban, because there are far worse things that actually do deserve a permanent ban other than bad language, like hacking, or feeding on purpose, and many other things that I can't think of right now. Hacking ruins the game, not people using rude words. Whenever I am being mean in game, people don't notice this, but I am just typing my thoughts into the game, I wasn't trying to be mean, but it is just what is flowing through my brain at the moment. Also, you can always mute someone, that is why they built it in the system. So back to my topic, I feel as though they should only get a permanent chat restriction instead of a permanent ban, and this will make League a more enjoyable game, especially to buy cool skins, or wards that are offered, because now you wouldn't have to worry about losing any amount of money that you spent on this game, and I believe that is fair justice.

This is just an opinion, and my opinion only, but the reason I posted this, was because I feel that people out in the community share my thoughts as well. If a lot of this doesn't make sense, it was probably because I have something else on my mind, and a little bit of me being sad that I can't play league anymore due to being "mean" that one time.

They used to have perm chat restrictions, but that's not fair to players who are forced to be on your team who want to communicate in some peoples opinions. Bottom line for Riot basically is, be a model league player, if you're upset, then step away from the game if you can't control what you say. Riot should not have to censor you, or prevent you from lashing out at others, they're teaching their player base self control. If something is truly upsetting you, there is a mute button so you don't have to see the garbage being flung at you in the chat.

At the end of the day, Riot doesn't care what the context of the words you say are, they just care about the words, if you're rude or mean or just toxic towards other players, whether or not they're feeding purposefully or by accident, it still brings nothing positive to the game. Bad stuff happens, but that doesn't give everyone the excuse to just say whatever they want. Perm bans are Riot's way of saying "do you really want to call this guy a #@$&er at the expense of your account? or are you gonna show a little self control"

You had more then one chat restriction. Do you changed your behaviour? Obviously not ... So how the fuck would a perma chat restriction change anything? It doesn't work, and you're a good example for that.

And removing the whole chat thing would result in some kind of trolling (or some other kind of toxic behaviour): "mimimimi this guy doesn't deserve a win, because he is a retard! Mehhhhh, can't say him the truth that he is a retard ;-((((( I guess I go feed or afk jungle or what ever to lose the game for us ... I don't care as long as this fucking retard don't win!" Not for everyone, but at least some people would do it, and that's enough to discard your suggestion.
