Who do you tend to honor in the end of the game?
Is it the one who carried most? Or the one who never gave up? Or the guy who was always calm?

As a support main I always give the honor to my ADC as long as they're doing a good job. In the worst case scenario I give an honor to the one who didn't annoy me/annoyed me the least and stayed the most focused in the game and got things done instead of typing their ass off. Aside from that, I usually end up honoring the one who I felt had more cooperation with me if not the ADC. If I'm running up the river getting chased and no one's coming to try and road block the enemy before I die with 1% health and my mid lane takes a moment to do just that, that guys on my list.
Generally it's the player who I felt helped out the most and/or was actually communicating in chat. There are times though where the person who helped lead our team to victory will get my honor, especially in come from behind victories.
I will only honor someone who doses something socially positive. There is nothing at all one can do with the champ they are playing that will cause me to honor them. I don't care how well they are playing.
It isn't how you play. It's how you act.
I rarely see anyone on my team trying to be positive and therefore it is extremely rare for me to honor someone. (only 3 times out of around 400 games or so) It annoys me when I see other people honoring people who they think did the best or carried the game. It also annoys me when someone honors me for doing well in a game, and I wish people would stop honoring people for that reason. in my book that is not what the honor system is for. I hate that people are using this as a "Vote the Carry" system.

In general, I tend to Honor the player who made a positive enough impact on my lane and helped me through to the end. Typically this is either Support/Bot depending on which of those two roles I am, or the Jungler if I'm on mid/top. If I'm in the Jungle myself, I think I just default to the Support? But I think the general Honor still applies either way. Whoever I was able to help the easiest, I guess.
Though, there are also some exceptional cases that I'm more than willing to Honor. Rarely, I'll find that one person (Support, Jungle, top, or otherwise), who does pretty well in general, but then, for one reason or another, a teamfight breaks out and somehow they just dominate. Whether it's saving teammates left and right with crowd control or spot-heals, tearing through the enemy lines, or any other sort of "holy shit that did not just happen" outplays, I will absolutely Honor those players for being so impressive.
And, of course, I will always Honor the rare case of a player rallying the team to victory with encouragement and positivity.
My premades
If a random carried hard while being ultra positive he gets an honor.
If we're a 4 man premade we honor the random
My beloved support unless he was an asshole.
I usually honor whoever played the best, but if someone made some individual play that helped me I'll honor them. Usually that means a single successful jungler gank.
I'll also honor other players who are agreeing to FF in an unwinnable game while our teammates are holding us hostage.
Usually the unsung hero. The people who catch waves at turrets when laners go roam. The people who pay attention to what is going on globally around the map, defending turrets, and applying pressure.
I am extremely unlikely to honor the guy with 40 kills if they took all of the jungle camps or sat in a side lane all game as an assassin. I hate it when squishy assassins do nothing but sit in a side lane when they have a Yorick, Singed, or Nasus on their team... It is one thing to hard shove a wave that is already near an enemy turret, it is another to sit in the side lane and push it from ally tier 3 all the way to the enemy tier 3. Siiiiigggggghhhh If those players joined the team and allowed actual split pushers with TELEPORT to stick to the side lane, I would probably honor those guys :D
I honor whomever deserves it. Sometimes it was the carry. Sometimes it was that velkoz with the clutch rotation that saves my rakan directly out of stopwatch.
Most times I honor the strongest carry
Sometimes I honor the poor guy who had a rough start but never tilted out
Anyone who saves me or ganks for me frequently gets a good chance at an honor
Support if none of the above or if i'm in bot and they aren't obnoxious
If someone is flaming/being toxic they are OUT of the honor reward process.
Aside from that I usually honor the one that helps me either by carrying, being positive or just keep playing even if the rest of the team is flaming them.
If I have a non-premade non-annoying person in the team, the honor goes to one of them - if one of them is friendly or positively fun experience, he will get it. If all the non-premades are negative trolly experience and only when I give it to my premade RL friend. Usually the RL friends will have to live without honors from me. In practice I always honor someone; that is because I always play with at least one premade and they are the nontrolly kind of players and get the honor if nobody else deserves it.
That depends. It's essentially the player that drew my attention.
Bot lane: I prefer to honor my lane buddy just because of the teamplay we had, even if it was rather average. Top lane: Often times the jungler, if he helped me out.
Sometimes I also honor player that had a really tough game but kept calm and thereby passively helped our team win. I think that is a very underrated ability.
I don’t honor. Usually skip that page without even acknowledging it. 0 honor for me over bs reports and bs ban means I get nothing, so why would I honor someone so they can get something?
The person that interacted the most with me / stood by me through thick or thin / wrote the least / stayed calm, encouraging others to do the same.
It gets one of those depending on the circumstances. I dont care if orianna went 16/2, if our 3/5 lee sin fought by my side even when i got caught in a 4 man gank, if he followed my calls, went in with me when i engaged and generally did his best to play like we’re playing a coop game im honoring the shit out of him wether we win or lose.
The less you write the higher your chances of my honor.
Thresh and Rakan players are the ones i most frequently honor.
When everyone interacts very little or its a stomp, i tend to honor either whoever i judge to have played their role best or whoever remained the most calm.
