2 week ban as first punishment for vulgar language?

Normally i believe that Riot would ban people justly and fairly, but a two week ban for using vulgar language after being provoked by the same player multiple games is kind of harsh. I understand that my actions were out of line but there are ways around that (mute,language filter) Don't get me wrong, its right to punish me for my actions as they were unsportsmanlike but it was only in chat in 1 game, I feel that a Chat Restriction is the punishment that i fairly and should have had.

I'm not toxic, it was just a bad day.

If your “vulgar language” was a form of hate speech or was you telling someone to kill themselves, and/or if you have had prior chat restrictions, then yes, you will get a 14 day ban. It is not the responsibility of others to mute/filter you - it is your responsibility to not say things in the first place.
