Is Going On tilt Normal?

SO I did my placements. One thing I found out was that I was way more salty then I normally played the game. I made worse decisions, I didn't push fast enough, and make a bunch of misclicks while my team says I suck. I would sometimes take a bunch of damage of a bunch of creeps and get myself killed. I was just playing worse than I normally do.

Most of my friends who were in plat thought it was weird, because they though I would get silver, or gold if I'm lucky.

So me getting to bronze . Is it natural? Does everyone start lower than they should be? Or was it just bad luck?

I found myself getting to tilt more often, and for whatever reason I kept getting top lane even though I put jungle as primary. That's BS. What's the point of putting "Primary and Secondary" If I always get secondary 80 percent of the time that's not support. I even get "Mid" over "Jungle" when my friend put jg secondary, while I put it as primary. That's BS.

Somehow I actually didn't fail. I got to bronze 1, which is a lot higher than most of my friends started at before they got to gold and up. and my mmr stands as 96% better than all the players in bronze 1 players. And no i'm not making this up.

So me doing worse on my placement games than I do normally. Is this because of "Ranked Anxiety" or is it from me being really unlucky in my placements?

BTW would be helpful to see "General Assumptions." on how long it might take me to get to silver. Any tips to help me win more in the comments.

You'll hit your "proper" elo in around 3 months playing 10 games or so each week.

However, if you are improving, then ignore this rule of thumb.

and going on tilt is normal.

Yea you get placed pretty low if you lose some of you placements. Keep in mind a few things are important when doing your placements.

-The first few wins are SUPER IMPORTANT. If you win 5 and then lose 5 you get placed higher then if you lose 5 and then win 5. -Takes into account your previous rank. If you were ranked bronze 5 previous season and win all 10. You probably won't get into gold. While if you had plat + previous season and lose all 10 You might end up in silver. -In general you will lose 3/4 tiers or 1 division? Silver 3 will get bronze 1. Gold 1 will get gold 4. Plat 5 players might sometimes get silver.

But the tilting topic. Yea it happens you probably are better than 50 % of the population. You do have to show it in bronze and you will. Winning feels a lot better than losing. So being a bit lower on the ladder means you pubstomp your way to a 50 / 50 winrate. If they put you to high you will lose until you hit a 50/50 winrate.

Plus you can meme your way all the way to euw challenger. (insert meme euw > na or euw <na here)
