I was chat restricted and only 1 game was shown in my logs, I thought they needed at least 3 to hand out a ban? Seeing as this was my first offense, I really dont think I should have be restricted after 1 game, as well as not being able to earn rewards throughout the entire season just because I had one little slip-up in a normal match..

Further, the chat logs may not always represent the most relevant games (e.g. punishment for poor sportsmanship due to intentionally assisting enemy team may give a chat log where the player did not write anything).

I know this because it has been both specifically said by Rioters and this topic and circumstances is not unique by far. And as I said, "unless your violations were particularly egregious, of course. Then that is to be expected."
Despite your attempts, I don't agree with "safespace" opinions either, so that one of yours doesn't work. However, our opinions on this do not change how moderation systems function.
I haven't specifically played ranked on specifically this account since I was wheedled into it back into S4, so that non-reason doesn't work either. However, players' amount of ranked play do not change how moderation systems function.

Your rebuttal to that comment was "It's not like someone is actually going to kill themselves" is far from the point.
Here is the thing, that form of toxicity is heavily punished because it is a negative impact on Riot's image. By ignoring it they would look bad. IF IT WERE TO ACTUALLY HAPPEN, they would look significantly worse. Think of how much bad publicity they would receive.
Now, you have a chat restriction. You can still play the game, count yourself lucky for that.
The number 1 think you should do now is learn from it. DON'T DO IT AGAIN!
It doesn't matter if you see it as a big deal or not. If you continue to act that way and get permanently banned, don't cry about it.

Lol I love when people complain about being banned, then when someone calls them out on it they get defensive to the point of being toxic and hostile. Really goes to show how likely it is that you really did get banned for toxicity.

Deep Terror Nami3 votesWhat exactly do you think they are saying that is incorrect? If you want Riot Player Behavior Specialists to verify something, I can get that being part of the NA volunteer program, and I have extensive knowledge on the system myself.
Regardless, if you want to discuss your restriction I'd suggest posting your reform card. The one sent to your email may only have one game, but the one provided in the client may have up to three. It'd also be useful to know if this is a 10 game or 25 game restriction.
