no chat ban. no nothing. Instant 14 day ban cause of the beautiful "kys"

all game we where trash talking, and talking trash in a friendly way. im sure you all know what im talking about. at end of game said gg and such etc etc. And within minutes i get 14 day ban. Pretty sure guy i said it too wasnt even the one who reported me. as he was going back and forth with me all game too. I dont get how if your both trash talking and having "friendly banter" and then one guy, not even part of it reports u. can impact your account this much. im asking if i can get it reduced to chat bans for x amount of games etc.

Even if you two were comfortable with the back and forth ribbing, there's 8 other players in the match and you don't know how they're going to react.

Maybe they weren't cool with seeing "kys" or the other terms you used, maybe they just wanted to report you for the sake of reporting you. Whatever the reason may be, you did still break the rules and there's nothing that Riot will do to overturn this. Sorry.

You know that typing kys in game generally leads to a banning. You know this. Why tempt fate?

''kys'' is a zero-tolerance word, meaning there is no place for it in league. Any use of it (even in your ''sarcastic way'' isn't tolerated, thus you got banned.

you wrote kys and someone reported you, u do realize that even though u and the other guy were having "friendly banter" they might have not seen it that way so yes riot is right and maybe rethink your way of dealing with toxicity.

You can certainly try.

Submit a ticket to https://support.riotgames.com and s4 if they would reduce it.

Highly unlikely though.

Automated system will punish triggers. You can file a support ticket to appeal. If Riot accepts your story then your punishment will be altered.

You getting banned has nothing to do with them getting banned.
If someone is being toxic report them and they will get punished.
You being toxic back does not help the state of the game.
If someone is toxic mute them and focus on the game.
Anyone being toxic for any reason including yourself in response to someone else deserves to be punished. 2 wrongs dont make a right.
