no chat ban. no nothing. Instant 14 day ban cause of the beautiful "kys"

There's more people than just you and whoever you're going back and forth with - and that's Hotarµ's point. The other players in the match may not be okay with you telling people to kill themselves, even if the person you're telling it to genuinely doesn't give two shits and a rat's ass.

You have to account for everyone who can see what you say, because they may not be okay with what you say. And if what you say breaks the rules, as is the case here, then their reports against you will be valid.

It's not dumb to be considerate of everyone else you're playing with.

so if u tell me "trash" and "git gud" and i go back and forth with u. and say "zzz kys" and he responds "tried bb ;(" etc etc and then some1 else reports i get 14 days insta cause of automatic bans? thats dumb...

A mute button isn't an excuse to say or act however you want. Like I said, there are 8 other people in the game and you have no way of knowing how they feel about certain insults or phrases. Even if you and one other person are comfortable with saying those things, you're still not in a private setting.

Riot's rules explicitly state that using 'kys' or other hate speech (such as racism or homophobia) is strictly zero-tolerance and they don't want it on the platform. Sorry if you don't agree with it, but rules are rules.

1. Well, lys isnt an acronym for telling someone to commit suicide. So.. sure?

2. No, intentional feeding is punished quite easily in most cases.

3. No, racism is not okay, and will get you escalated punishment.

You told someone to commit suicide. That's not okay. Ever. Literally never okay to say that.

no i didnt know this. if i knew kys would cause insta 14 day ban i wouldnt have said it. i wasnt mad or tilted or anything. i was in a 4man group and having fun and friendly trash talk. i always knew it as chat bans and then 14 days. even ppl who run it down get chat bans lol.

Oh, if you wre in a 4 man group you might be able to get it appealed then saying it was said among friends assuming you didn't say it in all chat.

being toxic is subjective. friendly trash talk in "worlds biggest online COMPETITIVE game" is all opinion. ggez can be jus as offensive to kys for some ppl. "lol u suck" can mean nothing to some. and very upsetting to others. having bannable flag words that will insta ban u. should jus be automatically blocked like in other games. System is automated and heavily flawed u can disagree all u want but it is plain and simple

By your own rational things are subjective. So if you KNOW this then why would you ever say anything thats SUBJECTIVE. Play it on the safe side and just be positive and dont try and ride a line of im not sure if this will offend anyone. If your NOT SURE. DONT TYPE it. Its really that simple.

As far as the bans for certain phrases. again. dont use them and you have nothing to worry about. Its that simple.

This is Coming from someone who has played sense season 1 and has been chat restricted and temp banned before over the years.

Dont say anything Subjective or negative. Mute people who are toxic and play the game. Its that simple.

Competition doesnt mean being rude or offensive to others. If you feel a need to trash talk other people there is something there you might want to figure out. Its not the games fault or other peoples fault.
