Removing chat from view (Persisted Settings)

Am I allowed to change the variable that controls chat scaling in the file "Persisted Settings" where I can no longer see my chat in game? Received a 14 day ban for toxicity when retaliating against a premade in norms and this is the simplest way I can stay positive and enjoy the game(first time ever being penalized but went straight to 14 day ban). Is there a system in place that will see the variable changed and think I'm doing something unfair or is it completely ok for me to change it? I don't want to get banned for changing it as well lol. Thanks! :3

Just look where Riot is pushing us. To even disabling chat at all with their stupid system just to not get perma banned. This is a team game and chat is very important to communicate to your teammates, yet even without swearing and insulting you can receive a ban. This is stupid af if you ask me.

Well if you had something called Self Control you wouldnt need to do something as stupid as this.

Did I say that I have chat disabled or I will do it? Read before you post.

Bans are being handed to people who are literally not saying anything bad, trying to help their teammates what they are considering as insults etc. I have seen enough posts where people are being banned for just responding to a toxic flamer and troll with, ''reported'' or just a simple ''fuck off'' or whatever. These people tilt you and it is only normal that you want to say something to them. Just for calling a troll stupid, you can get banned, that is how far this has gone. I have self control and I can just leave it, but I feel better when I respond something and mute them afterwards. If you like being shit on by every troll and flamer, fine, that's your choice.

EDIT: few games earlier I played nasus and said, "I will split push, don't fight without me." These guys start fighting 4v5 for no reason and lose and blame me. I called them "the worst team ever" and 2 of them were playing on KDA only, as they had no objective points at all. So yea. Calling them bad might get me in trouble. It was so frustrating, when you say exactly what to do, and they do the opposite, it tilts me.

See, I like to think it's more because the actual community is a bunch of toxic shits trying to get eachother in trouble than rito being a cruel dictator. Although this is "classified" as a team game, about 90% of the time it's more like 3-4 people hard-carrying the toxic deadweight than all 5 people doing their best to win.
