Why the do you guys choose to be lazy and not make a voice com instead you make dynamic que which so many higher elo players were upset with? You state league is a cooperation team work based game yet you guys don't add voice communication. The better mechanically skilled player also doesnt win. It is team based but you actually have to know the people but when you have no friends how does that work riot?... Add voice com it isn't that hard riot!
The reason Riot hasn't, and won't, add voice talk is because of all the shit talking people do already with text itself. We see it in almost every game. Someone, maybe even most of the team or enemy team, will get pissed and start swearing up a storm over one death and blaming someone other then themselves.
Now imagine voice chat. If voice chat was added, those toxic idiots would start shouting and verbally abusing their teammates instead of typing it, allowing them to get away scotch free without even the possibility of being reported as, unless the verbal logs were recorded, the reports will be useless.
TL;DR for those too lazy: Riot won't add voice chat to prevent the toxic idiots from getting away without the risk of punishment.
Voice chat with strangers is a terrible, terrible, toxic idea. Look at shooter games and tell me that's a good idea on League. Plus, voice chat is harder to monitor, and ban for, then text chat. Nope, I'll skype my buddies and not deal with voice chat any day of the week.
honestly, in game voice would be just another distraction.
also, what would all the multi-account elo boosters (most of whom don't even speak english) do with their various feeder bots running on virtual machines? They would have to create another voice for each account.
Oh hell no. I could already hear the screams of toxicity, and the static noises of shitty ass mics from a mile away. And the inability of people to let go of the Push to talk button, or the fact that their mic is always set to on so I could her their moms yelling at them in the background.
