It's easy for people to lose perspective and realize that they're still interacting with other human beings on the other end of the screen. They're exempt from the standard social punishments on most of the internet, causing many people to ignore what they've learned about basic civility.

Some things is just trying to be helpful. Like try to build x this would probably suite your needs a bit better. then they reply with
"omfg dont tell me how to build my fucking champion god"
like typing isnt all bad. Its the context of what you say and how you say it.

its hard. most people paint league as a rosy game with kind players thats fun. then you play and your like ooooohh thats why every one talks ill of league. thats why league players are cancer.
tbh they need to remove the chat its not worth using anymore notice how bans on here come from two places? chat and hacked accounts which to me makes no sense
I first timed Rumble today and a teammate told me I was playing against a plat Riven. It was pretty rough cause I died twice in the lane phase, and of course the riven was making a huge deal saying "how's it feel" I just responded with "im bronze 4 lol?" I ended the game 6/5 I think and we won thanks to draven. I think it's definitely an ego thing..
I can't keep a sound mind when I play champs like udyr/volibear and start split pushing, have 3 people chasing me behind their nexus turrets then take a look at my map and see my teammates in jg taking camps. Can't I at least ask if they having a f---king brain?
I know what your saying and I agree BUT it's human nature.
We can't control what someone in a digital space does. We don't know them or even care what happens post-game. They may be teammates, but they are still strangers.
Also sometimes people just need to vent, release their personal frustration is game that allows time for players to auto walk to a location or type when dead or waiting. cause if they dont, they leave or afk or tilt, and that means no matter what they do, they will get reported or flamed back.
If you see someone like this, just type "Sorry bro, muted :("
let them type it out, you don't have to see it or read it. Play the game, win or lose, report when necessary.
it maybe easy for me and you, but it's not the same story for others. Lead by example.

If I had my way I would remove chat and modify the missing ping so its not a question mark.
That ping is so toxic.
At least I can mute chat. I wish people wouldn't fucking ping like degenerate monkeys any time you do something they don't like.

Honestly it can be a bit hard to someone who has been like me over the years just tell them you're muting them if u want /mute all, turn off sound go about the game win or lose then report :3.
But yeah leaving chat on is very toxic makes me want to do really bad things to them, the anger is real.
