Permaban ? Really Riot ?!

Im a Caitlyn Main... in champ select im second pick.. So i go my usuall bread and butter and pick adc... i went to the bathroom and didnt see the last pick ... which was suppoesd to go support... We get to summoner rift.. and i see a Vayne .. going down in bot lane with me. at first i write in all caps saying " WTF vayne ?" "why no support " he doesnt say anything.. so im just complaing for like 2 mins... "blah blah this is ranked why am i getting trolled in silver 3 ... " so i let it go for 10 mins... then he starts to feed and feed and feed and feed all game... his score was 0/13 before we obviously lost the game and ... as the game is going off he is mouthing off to me blaming me... for losing... so i lose my marbles and flip out on him.. YES I did get toxic but honestly riot.. IS THAT NOT TOXIC? someone Picking Same Roll Champ and purposly Screwing the game up for everyone? who enjoys playing with someone like that. I believe riot should pay more attention to what is happening in CHAMP select and IN-GAME as in feeding patterns and obvious patterns of players who just TROLL.

Really riot ? What percentage of players are the ones that troll and make everyone game horrible. What is the percentage of people who make accounts just to troll people in the preseason who actually take the game seriously who want to become professional?

This is Biased and UNFAIR in so many aspects that I cant even begin to calm down. I just got my account UN-suspended. then it gets Banned the FIRST DAY I PLAY? RIOT THATS BS! I spend Money on this account.

And the sad thing is I bet the Troll is STILL online playing in a ranked game trolling someone elses game while i get perma-banned and he wont even get a suspension even though he was trolling and blaming me for his downfall and calling me names.

within first 10 mins he summoner 4 into the opposing team adc and support and then blamed me.. thats just fantastic.........

Friendly tip: making comments like this is actually the quickest way to NOT get help. If you did some research then you would know that it goes 10-game chat restriction, 25-game chat restriction, 2-week ban, permaban. Riot did tell you at least 3 times that the behavior you were showing wasn't acceptable but you ignored those warnings anyways and got permabanned because of it. If you really want help then post your chat logs (check your email, spam folder and game client for it or email Riot Support for it if you can't find it).

P.S. To answer your poll question yes, I do believe that trolls of all kind should be banned, and that includes the trolls who like to be verbally abusive jerks to other people.

Just because someone else is trolling does not mean you have the right to act however you want. You are causing problems for the rest of the team just as much as he is when you do that.

And just because you got punished does not mean he's getting away with his behavior. Same as you, he gets several chances; but even though you got banned from that game does not mean he has to lose his chances unless he already blew them like you did. Spending money on the game does not give you extra rights either.

Feel free to create a new account and start again. Next time try to learn from your mistakes before your punishment escalates; it's bad for you, bad for your team, and bad for the whole community.

Dude thanks , I understand that but it Still is unfair. I said some toxic things but I really Wish there was a replay system... Foreal... like his behavior and feeding //trolling was un acceptable then had the GAL to blame me. I even got fed up and ended up muting him honestly aswell.

For example, my leaverbuster level is very high, but 5 leaves are needed before you get to my level (2 in ranked) Do i do it on purpose? Hell no Do i groan about 20 minutes of low priority? Yeah Do I deserve this? Good god yes i do, having this punishment means fewer games in a certain time where i can negatively affect my team.

Actually only a maximum of 5 games would appear in a Tribunal case, but a player needed to be valid reported in far more than that in order to appear in the Tribunal.

Why even bother posting it on the forums? No one here will give you sympathy. Usually all you will get is people telling you that you deserve it. Then a few days later when they get banned, they'll write a post of their own.

Just because someone was trolling you doesnt mean you have the right to act the way you did. You got ban for your actions, and they will be to when it finally catches up to them. They dont give permaban for this as your first offense. You gotten reported, warning, and possibly temp bans before. You ignored all those warning and continue to act the way you did (are) and it finally caught up to them which resulted in your account being permaban.

The only person you need to blame is yourself. Did you deserve a troll on your team? No! But then again you have so much that could have helped your case. You could have just ignored him and not speak(type) one word to him, But chose to call him out. He was obviously trolling (at least for this one game) and intentionally feeding. That are red flag and could have used that to help your case.

Next time (if you continue to play this game on another account) learn from this and use the resources given to you. See someone being toxic mute and report after game. its so simple. Dont acknowledge them because thats the only reason they are doing this. They want that reaction because they know how the system works. Its easier to find someone being toxic than finding someone who is trolling.

Just please stop the lies already. You are only fooling yourself. We know how chat restriction works. Its triggered by certain words (racist/sexist/homophobic/curse) and if you were typing those things people had every right to report you and have their reports valid because of it.

Again you are reasonable for your actions. You got reported for what you did, and had been punished for what you did to ruin the game for other people. Stop putting blame on others when its you and you alone. You didnt want your account permaban, it seems you had numerous chances to change. Hell the 50 chat restriction should have been the first and only warning. But they also provided 2 temp bans and from those they saw you obviously arent reforming and rather than keep giving you bans that arent working they just permanently ban your account since you obviously dont know how to follow the rules!

If there was a punished player list, you would be able to see other trolls being punished.

Current report feedback system sucks as it only send the message if you were the last one reporter before the punishment of troll.

Riot has stated time and time again that retaliation is never okay. You can defend yourself so long as it's done in a respectful manner (i.e. not raging, flaming and the like). If someone is bothering you then just mute and report them after the game (but don't call for reports though, as that is considered harassment). It also doesn't matter how much time or money that you spend on the game, if you can't control your behavior around others after being warned multiple times to do so then you don't deserve to play. It may seem unfair to you, but it would be even more unfair to allow you to keep playing and harass even more players than you've done already.

  1. The moment you start harassing others you're basically saying "I'm a jerk, report me!", and you're also forcing your teammates to put up with your raging as well.
  2. Yes, calling for reports in general is bad and is considered harassment as well. Doesn't matter if it's in all chat or ally chat as it's still bad regardless. If you need to report someone then just do it without announcing it in the chat. The only thing it does is make reports against you valid.
  3. It's only unfair to you because it actually caught you being a jerk and punished you because of it. You had multiple chances to reform and you chose not to do so. Permaban cases are ALWAYS reviewed by an actual Riot employee, so if you got a permaban then it's because they felt that you obviously didn't care about reforming and deserved the permaban. If you were hoping for Yesmen answers then you won't get them here, so instead of acting like you did nothing wrong, just accept it and move on while trying to listen to those trying to help you avoid doing the things that got you punished in the future.
