How to report somebody outside of the game

A person i played a game with asked to friend me after the game screen and then sent an extremely offensive message to me. how can i report them?

I report people through support. They'll redirect it to the right person/people.

No, don't listen to him. You can report people if they added you to harass you.

and where? support wont care about it cause they dont save logs of privat chat and screenshots are not a valid reason concidering you could photoshop them to get someone banned

Send the screenshots to Riot in a support ticket under the category "I have a question about League of Legends" then "General Questions." They won't tell you the specific outcome, but they will investigate it and take the appropriate action.

No, since the game didn't go through you're probably right that this would give chat restrictions (unless the person has a history). I've seen more toxic chat than this though... and the botted accounts that I tracked and sent in don't seem to play anymore so it they must actually look at the screenshots.

People only get banned for less than that if they have a toxic history and have gone through the other punishment levels.

to them, guy never was banned, maybe chat restricted? People get banned for less than that, so I assume they just pretend to deal with it when in reality you can do what ever you want on lobby chats.

They look at every single report. Just because the person didn't get the punishment you think they deserved, doesn't mean they ignored it.

When they ignore any case ever though it's different. They are willing to say the outcome when you report in client but the response is just a mind game from a support ticket.

How is it a mind game? They say thank you for the report! Unfortunately we cannot disclose any punishment this player receives.

They can disclose punishment they do it multiple times wether it be famous people or someone you reported through client. They then say they can't disclose information to get you off their back, and out of all the support tickets I've seen sent I've never seen someone get punished.

Could be a first offense ever. Maybe they tolerate more in EUNE. :^) I can tell you they have never let me down though. And since I stream, I send them video proof.

Thanks guys this has been very helpful. I reported the player. I don't know if him telling me to "uninstall and immediately die" will be enough to earn any punishment, but i was a bit shocked so hopefully something happens.

I have reported people through the support ticket on the forums and I always attach screenshots if they do something after post-game.

I actually had a similar experience except they had mistaken me for someone else. I was defending them from the troll and then they added me and so I thought they added me because they liked that I stood up to the troll... nope. That person thought I was the troll and went on an epic horrible awful rant and they need to look at the post game chat again.

Surprisingly he still had the post game screen open and then apologized to me but I presume the person went and added the other person and went on a giant rant against them in hopes they couldn't be reported using the in game system.

I still reported him because his behavior was not only completely not called for as I was on his side, but what he said was incredibly inappropriate... and then I blocked him because I didn't want that kind of person on my friends list.
