Hate speech in the overview after the match (why isn't this traceable?)

I'm just wondering why Riot doesn't keep track of game overviews after the game for hate speech and other terrible misconduct. It's happened time and time again, often not directed at me, but it's just ever-present because people know that they can't get banned for being awful after the game. I was recently in a ranked game, where I saw all of the Tahm Kench counters going up so I knew he was going to get picked. I owned him and have played him a few times, so I grabbed him (since he wasn't banned). During laning phase, we had 3-4 enemies in our lane almost the entire early game and our Sion jungle didn't come to help... we had divers at 5 minutes since we were not leaving our turret's range, is how bad it was getting...

So Sion started to get abusive and toxic, until I just keep replying with "yep. I'm pretty bad." instead of getting worked up over it.

Game ends, he tells everyone to report me to the tribunal for going 1/9/8 (for intentionally feeding). I admit, I wasn't good.. but it beat someone who is Tahm main getting his pick. But then he starts spouting off slurs and calls me a fggt.

I guess I just don't understand why the tribunal can't see overview chat since that's where most of the abuse comes from now a days, since people know that in-game they will get tribunalized, and that in overview they are free to be as racist/sexist/hateful as they like.

I did report him for his minor toxicity in game, and mentioned what he said after the game. I hope he gets banned. =\

But it does. Why do you think Riot doesnt check pre/post game chat? Any type of chat you put in before or after the game will get check. I dont think they actually show it in your reform card, but again im not sure. Why they dont know it just doesnt make sense. But a few Rioters have confirm that they do check it when they review reported players!

Pre/post game chat is recorded and can be checked. The misconception they don't/can't comes from technical issues that prevented its inclusion in what we see in cases (when Tribunal was still running) and now with Reform cards.

If you're seeing stuff in pre/postgame, my suggestion is to screenshot and attach it to a Support ticket.

Old Tribunal couldn't see pre/post game chat for technical raesons. Riot can see it, though... And Riot is exclusively in charge of swinging the banhammer these days.

Alright, well thank you for the info! I've obviously always been under the impression that it was only in-game material that was sorted for abuse, since I used to review a lot of tribunal cases and would always have to say "pardon" when a report was for something said outside of the chat that I could see. Glad that they are doing something about it.
