Why was I punished?

First game in a year after quitting due to toxic players, and come to find out nothings changed. I play one match and get flamed from my entire team cuz EVERYTHINGS the jungles fault. Kept my cool all game muted two of my teammates to keep the peace. Just to get chat banned from my very first game and cant even open a champion capsule. Whatever that is? I am not a toxic player this is just ridiculous they cussed me out and called me names all game yet I get chat punished? How about you do a better job at looking into these kind of things. Riot you let me down... </3

This happened to me and it makes me sick. I couldnt participate in Clash. And apparently Im still at honor level 1 checkpoint 0 after probably 100 games. Basically I was getting FLAMED, cussed the **** out, like you said, and all I did was call a guy bad one time, never called anyone anything else. Word for word I said to the evelynn who missed her charm "U just hit a stationary minion with your Q. Ur the one who's bad." Had them muted for a lot of the game but they were HARD CORE flaming, and I TRIED to make peace, aaaaand somehow I got punished for that. No Clash for me.

^ I feel your pain G, riots program needs to be looked into. because the chat log they had sent me was completely wrong and most of what I was "Chat restricted" for was the things they where saying to me. So let down by riot rn. I am far from toxic!

Your absolutely right, the chat logs that where sent to me where made up off the things they had said to me. But yet I'm the one getting punished? RIOT FIX YOUR PROGRAM, "clearly" its not working.

If the chat logs you received actually include other people talking to you, those are an error. I have not heard such thing happening before and I have very hard time believing you said nothing - instead I believe you said the words that you received with the punishment instead. If you want to know why you were punished like your subject claims, you need to post those chat logs here or most people here will consider you to be yet another toxic person, who got what he deserved.

Mute them, Report them, Move on. Honestly, are you playing in a pre level 30 match, i noticed your forum account is 14? These players I recently noticed are extremely toxic. Im guessing most of them are smurfs whos main accounts were previously banned, i dont see too many real "new" players. Just dont Flame back, even if you think its warranted... cause Riot will never agree with you on that one.

I am a new player and yeah they are, I got flamed all game and worst of all the chat log I was sent by riot. More then 90% of it was what they had said to me for example calling me "autistic." and exactly as you said I chose to mute them instead of argue but I guess there actions reflect on me in riots eyes.

So , the report system is automated and basically just looks for keywords. When someone is harassing you, one thing you should never do is ask people to report them. Its a form of harassment in Riots eyes. So in turn, you and the person flaming will both get punished. Just mute them, stay quiet and report them after the game. You don't have to call for additional reports , weather its 1 report or 9 reports it holds the same weight. And don't ever quote what people are saying. Like i said the report feature is automated and it searches key words, it cant distinguish tone and context.

Riot sent me a chat log and 90% of it was the stuff they said to me? GREAT JOB RIOT! DONT put words in my mouth THANK YOU VERY MUCH?????????????? How about you do your job right. This is a joke!
