i usually never talk in chat. i never had a chat restriction or anything yet.

i only talked in one game and got instantly banned for 14 days

Hate speech (which appears as multiple % symbols on these boards) and encouragements to self-harm (such as "kys") both earn escalations to an immediate 14-day ban due to the severity of the toxicity and the completely unnecessary nature of those comments. Riot has a zero tolerance policy on this sort of behavior.

With both present in the same log you might be lucky that it's only a 14-day ban, actually.

Riot has a zero tolerance for that and you can be happy it's not perma banned. The next thing which is kind of bad manner will get that account perma banned. Work on yourself.

That's the sole reason it was escalated to a 14-day ban. Otherwise, you may have been looking at a 25-game chat restriction instead. Whichever word you used here is totally unacceptable (there are only a few 6-letter words censored by the Boards, none of which are good).

Perhaps you should take the 14 days to reflect on your behavior in-game and your attitude towards your teammates. Even without looking at the one line that probably escalated you, you still tell people you're playing with to kill themselves and that they're useless. This is also not considered acceptable behavior and if it continues, you'll easily fall into a permaban.

If you care about your account, you should take more care when using chat.

Maybe you're special to your mom, but she has no power here, nor you do. You are nobody, so either you respect the ToS you accepted, or you just get punished.

Besides the fact your entire log -- as short as it may be -- is entirely made up of negativity and harassment;

You also are lucky to get away with a 2-week ban as a first offense instead of a permaban due to hate speech, which is normally permaban worthy (zero tolerance 'rule').

I'm surprised Riot hasn't decided to escalate it to a perma already, especially since you told someone to "kill themselves" as well as whatever the %%% hate speech word was.

There are plenty of undeserved bans and you post this shit? This isn't even close to being "debatable" as far as the rules go. It may be extreme, but it's not surprising. No one would consider that behavior acceptable regardless of circumstances (though many would just mute and not care). This isn't a matter of you calling a champion garbage or disagreeing with strategy and getting a suspension for it. The only question is what punishment you'll receive.
