Blame your friend I guess! There won't be more helpful then your support ticket but the chances for mistakes are rare at 3rd party use.

Learn paragraphs and punctuation, they help your intended audience understand you.
You can try sending in a support ticket, but since there is no way for Riot to discern between 'innocent' copying and copying in order to use your friend's scripts, I'm going to guess your appeal will fail.
Before starting a new account, make sure to completely uninstall the game, and wipe 'your friend's' files, then redownload Riot's installer. Else your new account will get banned just like the old one was.

Felidae772 votesSorry, that's not Riot's problem. They will only overturn bans if you can convince them that they made a mistake.
In your case, you've admitted you have no idea whether or not you did have scripts and/or 3rd party programs installed due to your own actions by copying from a friend. Secondly, there is no way for Riot to know whether you copied your friend's files due to some files getting corrupted, or because you wanted some of the hacks he was using.
You made a very poor decision (probably in all innocence), and are going to have to suffer the consequences due to the fact there are so many cheater and liars around.
By all means, send in a support ticket. Make sure to reply to the first canned response you get to get a personal answer. But, in my opinion, your chances of getting your account back are minuscule.

DrCyanide2 votesDownload speeds. In pretty much every case it's faster to copy the game to a thumb drive and move it, patches and all, to a new computer than it is to redownload and repatch.
Edit: my League folder is 5.5GB, USB 2.0 transfers at 480 Mbit/s, Comcast's base internet is "up to 25 Mbps", so you're roughly 20 times faster copying it from a friend.

I get that nodes get overloaded from time to time but maybe you should just take the time and effort to upgrade the nodes or run fiber lines instead of just being lazy and adding an asterisk next to your advertisements. SMH.
