My friend recently got a perm ban for this game, any ideas or thoughts on this? Please note that his teammates were bashing on him and constantly being jerks alongside but this doesn't have the context of it sadly since its only on the player that was punished.

It really doesn't matter if this incident is worth a perma-ban specifically. All that matters is if it was worth a punishment.

If yes, then it grabs the next punishment in the line of escalating punishment. That punishment just so happened to be a perma-ban.

it's not just from one incident that your friend got banned but from many that added up. Yes what he said was toxic towards the end and very rude. Regardless of how the other people were, being toxic back is not the right thing to do

3/10 Definitely on the lower side of deserving it but I can see why they'd report him.

I'd assume he's already had a 2 week ban. It's an escalating punishment system, so if you go through the chat restrictions and suspension without cleaning up your chat, you're going to get banned.

Tell him if he decides to make a new account to just mute people instead of arguing with them. It makes the game less frustrating and won't get you banned.

Given that he got sent to the perma, it was likely that he was at the 14-day ban. So he should have known better by this point.

And no, it doesn't matter how his teammates might have been treating him, he had the option to mute. Being an ass while responding to assholes still means that he was being an ass.
