Way to remove a unfair ban to my account?

First off, I don't mean any of this to sound whiny or cynical or whatever, I just want to find out some information bout this subject due to various reason's, and was told to post this in this discussion section after a riot employee already saw it.

Okay, yes my account was banned, and yes I admit that my choice of words in game might not always be the best. But I think it is unfair for my account to be banned because I was defending myself from a toxic player who was verbally attacking me with homophobia and slight pedophilla behaviour as he seem's to keep wanting me to be young. Yes I might have been a bit abusive, but it was to defend myself, not to be intentionally toxic or anything.

And to those that say "You could just mute them". I do mute most people, but when someone is attacking you with serious stuff like homophobia, then im sure you can understand that its not something that can just simply ignore.

I just want to know if I can get my account ban removed since I do feel like this is a unfair reason to be banned, especially after the years and all the money iv put into this game...

Thank you for taking the time to read all this, and thanks in advance for any useful info you might reply with. Lots of love, Cherry <3

(PS: Have sent off a support ticket already before anyone says that)

Support ticket, as you said, that's all.

I was defending myself from a toxic player

What you did wasn't defense any more than adding more logs to a fire is trying to put it out.

It can't, because it was accurate. You only get unbanned if you were banned for the incorrect reason in the first place.

You take things people say to you in an online game full of keyboard crusaders too personally.

Another case of ignorance to the rules...

Good luck with that. My friend got a two week ban and removal of her border for supposed "elo boosting", when she literally just sat down and busted out a lot of ranked for a couple of weeks because she was trying for gold. Almost got there too, just barely didn't before the season ended. Then she was delivered the ban, removal of border, and end of season rewards. Obviously she took it to riot and brought it up, explaining the situation, and riot just shrugged and told her there was nothing they could do.

Whether your ban is deserved or not, nothing's gonna happen. Riot doesn't care.

Moral of the story: don't get good at this game, unless it takes you three seasons. It's apparently elo boosting as far as riot is concerned.

You CAN ignore anything. Just stop taking what people say on the internet so literally and just ignore it. Report them after the game if it bothers you.

Good job throwing around a lot of buzzwords. Let me just redirect you to a site that seems more fitting for you. https://www.tumblr.com/ If you get triggered by thinks like "homophobia" and "pedophilia" you may want to consider cutting your internet connection.

Excuses doesn't matter, your target is toxic as well means he will get banned as well, doesn't mean your suspension is unfair. Next time just mute and report him as I always do.

@Myrmiron: whats with the negativity man? Its not about being triggered, its about the principal of what happened, and that stuff like homophobia and pedophillia is taking things too far. No need for you to post cynical comments

@Moonlytee: I didn't mean literally that I cant ignore it, as I previous said in this comment, its about the principal. There's just somethings you can let slide. Like for example, if u see someone bullying a paraplegic just for being disabled. You cant let that slide. Same principle as homophobia.

@BarelyPaula: Yeah, iv posted one of those already after being contacted by a riot employee. Here's hoping that I have some luck with it. Thank you anyway

@Century Child: Its ironic that you mention multiple season's, as iv been playing since season 2. Sorry to here bout your friend, iv seen similar things happen before. My boyfriend got a 2 week suspension for "elo boosting", when all he was doing was giving a new player helpful advice and tips. I just hope Riot can start to see both side's of the coin, instead of just one.

Welcome to riots shitty system. In the real world it's like a person shooting you several times with a gun in your own home, but the moment you shoot back with one bullet, hit the person shooting you in your own home and cause them to run crying out of your domain, you get arrested and charged because the intruder and person shooting you cried foul.

Riot's system needs work and riot isn't looking at the metrics and root cause of toxicity, instead ignoring actual metrics, having support personnel that would be fired from any other job with their lack of customer support, but instead hiding behind a broken system and claiming that it works.

wow, good to see that the website community is just as negative as the game community :/ If all you are going to do is post cynical unpleasant comments, then please don't say anything at all, specially since you didn't see the actual logs of the game. Well, shudnt be too surprised since most of ya are NA players :/

I think we need some more info because people aren't banned on a first offense for "defending themselves." Have you gotten any chat bans or 14 day bans before? Have you read the Terms of Use? Every ban is looked at by a Riot employee so false bans are really rare. That's why people aren't going to believe you.

Kofei1/17/2016, 1:32:50 PM1 votes

if you're actually innocent then show us the chat logs because riot sends them to point out what you said that got you banned.
