Hi guys!
I just got permantly banned. I had a 2 weeks ban about 4 months ago and since then I really tried to reform and dropped a tier. That being said, I did surely mistakes in this preseason by get into trolls and react to them. Anyways, I am wondering right now why excatly I am not banned again for 2 weeks since the tier was dropped.. and right skipped that into permantly.

what were you banned for? if it is for toxicity, then chat logs please; as extreme toxicity can skip punishment tiers.
Hryna1 votesIt was more than three months ago, I think that should drop the tier. Then again I'm not sure how this fits with "you need to reform in order to improve the status of your account".

BoyfromGermany1 votesI have assumed my tier dropped once I stood positive and started to receive hextech chests & keys after games again. Also the message "You are ineligible to earn loot due to previous behavioral restrictions. " disappeared weeks ago. (Again i am not 100% sure if that is a sign for dropping tier but that is what I heard before)
As far for the punishment it was due toxicity yes.

this is not your fault for misunderstanding this.
But yea, if you mess up, it now moves you the next tier of punishment, it doesn't reset.
being back in their good graces would take more than 1000 games of normal or good behaviour
and riot will never tell you your current status of your next ban
BoyfromGermany1 votesOkay this is crystal clear explained. I guess my permaban was then deserved to the fullest. I just had that in backmind if I ever get toxic again I would get another 2 weeks ban, that mindset screwed me hard.

themachamp1 votesThat 3 months drop a tier thing is a lie, tbh. Its more along the lines of "whenever the fk we feel like dropping you down a tier". Kinda like when a teacher/parent/boss etc uses "when i feel like you have improved then......"
Don't forget riot rarely does manual reviews for reformation (if at all). Your mainly trying to appease algorithms in their "sophisticated" IFS.
