I just wanted to start by saying I've played this game for roughly 6 years now (started playing at trundles release). I've dedicated a lot of my time to this game and have spent many seasons learning and climbing in ranked to try to become a much better player and be as competitive as possible. I realize that toxic behavior should be punishable and my ban is definitely justified I just wanted to write a post about my experience with league of legends and riot as a company. I feel as you grow as a player in league of legends sometimes the competition gets the best of you mentally and sometimes you respond to people in a way you wouldn't normally. Once again I understand excessive mature language and being overall toxic is bad for the game I just don't understand how people get so frustrated in this game and report so frequently that it can end in a permanent termination of somebodies account. I know this might be a little off topic but I remember the days of WC3 and Diablo 2 and you could say literally whatever you wanted in those games and you would never get banned for language, they were mature video games meant for mature players (minus WC3 I guess).

I have enjoyed my time here playing league of legends and I've met many different people from all over the world who love to play this game. I think Riot as a company is a little greedy and not very forgiving but it is their game and their company so they can choose to run it how they please. I've spent over $2000 on this game, unlocked every champion, climbed to Diamond multiple times and overall grown a lot as a player and gamer from playing this game. I will not be making a new account simply because it costs too much money to do so and takes way too much time to unlock everything again. I would just like to say Goodbye forever Riot and so long to the league community I had a blast while I was here and I wish everyone the best playing experience you can have and hopefully you enjoy it a little bit more with me being gone.

I'm down to answer any questions you guys might have about my experience with the game or toxicity in the league community if you guys are open for a discussion.

question:

did you skip reading through your 14-day email to know that your next punishment is a permaban?

or were you treading carefully and didn't realise that minor stuff can get you punished as well?

I don't remember getting an email to be completely honest, second of all If I read that my next punishment was a perma ban and I knew that for 100% I definitely would've just /muteall as soon as I got into a game.

hmm.. while it is possible to skip punishment tiers with extreme toxicity, typically toxicity bans start with a 14-day ban instead of perma.

If you haven't gotten a 14-day ban, you might want to ask support.riotgames.com (under general game questions -> account management or something like that) when your 14-day ban was (date).

You might be able to get you ban status to a 14-day ban instead of perma.

No I definitely received a 14 day ban prior I just don't remember getting the email saying that my next report or next punishment would be a perma ban. I already tried contacting riot support to see if I could get another 14 day or something of the sort, really anything I would do at this point to get my account back but they told me I was too toxic of a player and my ban was justified. Which I understand just once again very disappointed in myself that I would throw away 6 years of work and literally thousands of dollars that quickly. I just never thought a perma ban would happen to me for some reason I guess I'm just naive.

oh. I see.

Well, the punishment system was revamped on Aug-2015, to 4 punishment tiers, including permaban as final punishment.

I guess that is it for you then. If you decide to come back, them please be considerate of your toxicity on your new account.

Ya I'm aware of the rules like I said my ban was 100% justified and I might make my return at a later date. Its just league is one of those games that starting over takes a lot of work to reaccumulate what I have gotten in the game. Thanks for your comments I'm just here to start a discussion about the game/ answer any questions someone has about toxic behavior or ranked climbing, anything of the sort.

Yeh i got banned for toxicity aswell welcome to the club. to bad for them diamond is easy to get and i'm back only less toxic. But you know those 2-10 toplanes/botlanes b4 20mins make me cringy BUT NO I SHALL HOLD THE TOXICITY INSIDE .

For me I play really competitively and when I get those really heavy feeders early on I get mad pretty fast, but once again I did deserve my ban just disappointed in myself I guess maybe I will make my return at a later date for now I'm not interested.

nah don't comeback game is garbage every retard can play these R to win champs and comeback after you shitting on them in lane in every way early game cause rito made is so jimmynothumbs can comeback and beat you in a late game 5v5. i personally only play cause of the money i've spent on the acc i'm using atm and because i make money off the game every now and then. ;p

ive noticed that you were also in a losing streak.

only one report triggers a review. Its not like you never got any warnings before. So you def knew what you were going. You just didnt see it as an issue or didnt cared enough about your account value.

I honestly cared a lot about my account I just never thought it would happen to be to be completely honest. And yes I understand my ban was 100% justified I deserved it. As far as seeing toxicity as an issue, it definitely is I was just raised to be very vocal and open about the way I feel about things and I feel that people are way to extra sensitive these days for some reason. Not sure what started this whole thing but I don't see how voicing your opinion with mature language has become so offensive that your account can be permanently terminated for it.

Sorry I was gone for a while after making this post I'm still here interested in reading comments and any questions you guys might have. Another thing worth noting I'm not worried about trying to reclimb I'm more worried about not having a LVL 30 account with the runes/skins/every champion that I use to have, that's the biggest reason for me to more than likely not play this game for a long time.

Also I have read that riot used to have a system where if you could level a new account or level 20 without having any toxic behavior on the account they would reconsider your perma ban. I really wish that still existed as I would happily re-level to 20 to get my main account back. I can see how this system has its flaws I just wish the people that didn't abuse it and flame more wouldn't ruin it for everyone.

Lol I'm not saying constructive criticism happened but come on how many constructive criticism games have you really seen while playing league of legends and its just apart of the communication in the game now, you get used to it.

I've actually been seeing better criticism since when I started back around S3. While it's still more common to get a teammate calling you a tard I've had more than a few games lately where I do get the benefit of the doubt for having a bad game. Communication is difficult when one or both parties do not have a fluent way of expressing ideas over text medium. More often than not text is simply to blunt if all someone has to work with is a handful of common words. Admittedly, this is something I need to work on for myself.

TBH I'm one of the people who report you for writing even ez. I think its childish to get banned for stuff like that, but if this is hor riot sets priorities, I may aswell let my toxicitie out that way xD

I've played with him once and this guy is toxic as hell. So glad riot got rid of you. & I hope everyone can see him as a prime example to not make bad decisions and be toxic. He dedicated 6 years of his time and $2000 worth of money to have his account taken away from him. You have to have been really toxic in order to have been permabanned. After all you're part of the 0.006% of community who got permabanned. Quite an achievement there.

Well I'm glad you will be happier off without me in the community but just remember there is a million other me's out there you can't get rid of us all. I just happened to be unfortunate enough to become perma banned for the way I talk in game.
