Why did I get a 14 day suspension for REPORTING an inter/greifer?

Will post chat logs after my brief explanation - Got into game, Zyra troll flashed into a bush, proceeded to die in lane a few waves in because she had no flash, i said "If you had flash you wouldnt have died" She then proceeded to int, and made it very verbal what she was doing, and the entire enemy team were talking to us etc in all chat. I legit said nothing that would warrant any kind of punishment WHAT SO EVER, in fact after a breif discussion i ignored at least 200 dif things she said the rest of the match and played until we lost ALL the while, literally the whole game all she did was shit talk. Explainations provided between ----

Ênergy: guess idk what toxic means, my bad. Ênergy: good thing everyone knows false reports Ênergy: do nothing. Apparently they do, and u get banned for 14 days for reporting trolls now? Ênergy: bruh why u running from a lvl 8 nasus Ênergy: id unmute him to see his rage, but its typical and boring, so ill let u guys enjoy it till the games ends =)

PLEASE explain to me reasonably WHY i just got a 14 day suspension for reporting an INTER/GREIFER?!?!?!?! Im legit at a loss for words right now, and very angry. Me getting banned for quite literally nothing, simply for reporting someone who DESERVES a perma ban for his actions only fuels the fire for more trolls to do what they do, and report the people who are reporting them, because this is proof that false reports get you places.... I just dont understand why Im getting the heat for something i reported someone else for doing? I feel like the person who handled this did NOT read the chat from everyone in the game, did NOT review the game, and simply banned me for nothing because i said something like "not my account thats gonna get banned for that"?... like... why? I got banned within seconds of the game ending. less than 1 minute, so theres NO way this could have been actually reviewed and the REAL problem in this game get the punishment, and not the victim. This guy followed me around ALL game trolling, spamming all his skills on top of me constantly, telling the enemy team where i was, what i was going, when my summs were down, like.. WHY am I getting punished for this persons actions? im so mad right now.

Did you tell the enemy team that Zyra trolled flashed and to have fun punishing her for it? Because that is what it looks like to me

You didn't get banned for reporting someone, someone reported you and you got banned.

Nothing from these chat logs is positive or helpful in game. It's nothing but banter and it's clogging up the chat logs. The appropriate response when someone is being toxic in chat is to mute them; not egg them on.

Pretty sure after a 14 day your next ban will be a perma ban. So you better work on learning to mute people and only bringing positive or helpful things into the chat.

I think bans from typing in chat are stupid in general. However, you were being a brat by using the system as a threat and harassment. If you were to be punished, Riot should implement much longer chat restrictions rather than a ban. Since your only offense is the crap you said in chat. Only time I think someone should be outright banned is if they are intentionally feeding or losing on purpose.

The reason you got banned is that rito doesnt like vigilantes. This is quite ironic because riots minions aka board posters, /r/ league think that they can enforce their opinion on others and decide who is true and wrong. The current unacceptable behaviour is Toxicity. This is my speculation but I think they dont ban inting and trolls because most of them are low elo and feed in most games thus getting flamed by their team so they come to the boards to laugh at people getting banned and feel good about their inferiority complex.

The punishment has been explained and the conversation has now delved into a few individuals calling each other trolls. Nobody here is trolling, but there's no constructive discussion ongoing here. As such, the thread is being locked to further commenting.

@OP - please review the comments and take them to heart, as it does appear your punishment was validly placed.

@Everyone - please remember to not make discussions personal - discuss the behavior/topic, not the person - and there's especially no reason to start calling people trolls.
