just got off a 2 week ban for some bullshit chat logs and then 1 game in i get banned for this?

Did you just come off of a 14-day ban?

The system escalates, so after a 14-day anything worthy of a chat restriction results in a Perma. By then the player has shown that they refuse to change, so yeah, they get Perma'd.

The only way I see those chat logs leading to a perma is if it escalated through the chat restrictions into the 14-day and then the perma.

But it does. The 14-day ban warns that ANYTHING can then trigger a perma.

It took time, but you worked all the way through the system and kept going. Most people don't even make it past the first chat log step.

By ignoring the warnings, you've been showing you're not gonna change, so League has decided to tell you 'goodbye' for now.

That's how it works. Negativity in games makes people want to play less, thus less revenue. So the community has decided it's not worth keeping the ragers.

No, they are indeed toxic. Just not insta-ban toxic worthy (but you've worked through the escalation system so that doesn't matter).

the notable bits in the chat logs above are threatening reports and ffing.

There's no need to ask/threaten reports, just report them if you believe it's worth. Riot will validate/invalidate the report anyways.

After a game, go through the "report categories." The chat in the OP has at least 2 of those categories.

Yeah but one report does the same as 9, so you dont need to call for reports just do it yourself. Calling for them just leads to more hate.

1 report doesnt =9 that is such bullshit. i had a kennen in a game say i hate FG NR and literally didnt get punished because i was the only one to report him and sense riot thinks that i just spam reports on people they do nothing.

How you know he didnt get punished? If you refer to the "a player has been punished blabla" massage, it only appears to one of the players that reported the person before the ban and it doesnt even pop up every time. This is, my guess, to prevent backengineering and cause its not nescessary.

Actually, 1 report is indeed the same as 9 reports. Reports alone simply flag a game for review, and it only takes 1 report to do that. Any additional reports do not do anything extra. They don't make the system look any harder or faster for punishable behavior, nor do they increase the chances of someone getting punished.

As far as that Kennen is concerned, not every instance of every offense will get punished immediately, which is unfortunate for cases of hate speech/death threats. The system isn't perfect and sometimes people will slip through the cracks, which sucks. If someone doens't get punished immediately after you report them, that doesn't mean that their behavior was acceptable or that your report meant nothing.

As a side note, you spamming reports does not hurt your credibility. "Report weight" is no longer a thing. Every report triggers a review, however not every review will result in a punishment.
