Ok, Riot, I feel bad for such a negative feedback, one of your nice Riot support employees told me to post my rant here if I have any hope of making changes, so, again i'm sorry, but here is what I told him:

"Your policies are ridiculous, and the system is SO RIGGED, do you have any idea how many times I've reported a person for slamming the n word with the hard R and don't get a feedback report? You wouldn't believe all the crap I get literally just for playing your game, you could play almost any other game with a chat system and literally no one cares, everybody is happy with the privilege to swear casually if they need to. You know why your company has permanent bans for crap this unreasonable? Because you're money vampires that prey upon in game addicts because you'll know they'll have no choice to come back and let the money dump into another account all over again. Make permanent bans a 30 day suspension, do something about your corrupt establishment and watch as the sunny days come soaring back into the games knowing you finally pulled your heads out of your loaded asses and stopped thinking like preschool disciplinary instructors, my god... I think i'm done wasting my time with this game. "3 years later and this game is still shit," and I couldn't agree more with the dozens and dozens of people who have said exactly that. You mentioned something about the slurs used on this account? I've counted 5. This game was one of them. Sorry you had to be the employee to manage this conversation, but I just thought I would vent a bit because I just think this should be said. I tried being polite, I've tried being reasonable, I've tried being patient and accepting, but nothing works. It never goes the players way, you see? That's the problem with your game. It ALWAYS goes Riot's way, they never TRULY take into heart what the players want. Thank you for your time."

Personally, take World of Warcraft for example. If anyone gets flamed, the other guy flames back so they both feel good about venting, both give peices of there mind... and that's it! And that's literally all there is to it. Nobody cries, nobody gets hurt, its just, "whatever." 15-45 minute matches of pvp, there's always going to be flame here and there, but it should never be bannable. You know what I think will be hilarious to do to people who have gotten reported too many times? Humiliate them by giving them like, 100 games with chat restrictions or something as the final penalty, or like, put a symbol on their loading screen to show that they are dishonorable, kind of like wearing a cone hat that says "dunce" in a classroom, instead of a permanent ban. This way people can learn a fair lesson not to be so belligerent all the time. Perma bans is just too harsh, it's way too uncalled for----for anybody! No matter what they say, honestly that's just wrong. Don't perma ban and just watch the waves come rolling back to the shoreline, the community will probably much more moral. Another idea, and just shooting in the dark here--its just a thought. There's another game I like playing on mobile called Arcane Legends, it's an MMORPG that has an ultrasafe system, that immediately puts a chat lock on anybody who said a curse word beyond "Damn" and "Hell," I always thought it was funny how some guy would act like a total douche to me, and I would out-wit him into getting enraged, and I would immediately know he got muted by the system because I made him mad. How hilarious would that be? Just saying... This way, no one even gets banned because language and other violations against the summoner's code won't even exist. I'm begging you guys, let people play without feeling like they're in a verbal cage, and watch as the community flips around again. I really hope that you can find it in your hearts to hear this message out, as I'm pretty sure a lot of people, and hopefully you guys as well, can agree with me. So with that, thank you for hearing me out, and thank you for your time. I gotta go to bed now, I've been at this way longer than expected.summoner 3

You can say fucking swear words all the god damn time, provided they aren't the racist, homophobic piece of shit hate speech.

You know why your company has permanent bans for crap this unreasonable?

Why, because you say so? I find it very reasonable they they give THREE WARNINGS for out of line behavior, except when the aforementioned hate speech is involved.

Because you're money vampires that prey upon in game addicts because you'll know they'll have no choice to come back and let the money dump into another account all over again.

No, they want them gone. They don't want them back. The logic here is faulty, at best. If I was toxic, and likely going to be banned again, why in the hell would I give another cent to the company I loathe? Makes no sense.

Make permanent bans a 30 day suspension, do something about your corrupt establishment and watch as the sunny days come soaring back into the games knowing you finally pulled your heads out of your loaded asses and stopped thinking like preschool disciplinary instructors

No. It is not preschool discipline. If i were to use that kind of speech at my job, I would be fired. No warnings, no second chances, fired. You know why?

It is not acceptable, anywhere, period.

my god... I think i'm done wasting my time with this game. "3 years later and this game is still shit," and I couldn't agree more with the dozens and dozens of people who have said exactly that.

Well, if that's the case, I wish you well in your next gaming endeavor.

You mentioned something about the slurs used on this account? I've counted 5.

That is 5 too many.

You have been patient with support, which (if true) is commendable! That is more than can be said about most people who contact support. Ultimately, just being patient & reasonable, does not bean getting your way. Riot has the final say on this. You can agree or disagree with them, but that does not change the outcome.

Two main points why WoW is so different from LoL:

  1. WoW is not a MOBA, where you are placed with (possibly) random players where you need to cooperate to complete and objective. There is no aspect of "carrying" in WoW, where people put too much focus on their own performance, rather than looking at the broader team objective. If you flame in WoW, you don't have to continue to try to cooperate for upwards of an hour to play, or just give up and get out.
  2. This one is important, and I cannot stress this enough

WoW IS NOT LEAGUE OF LEGENDS

You know what I think will be hilarious to do to people who have gotten reported too many times? Humiliate them by giving them like, 100 games with chat restrictions or something as the final penalty, or like, put a symbol on their loading screen to show that they are dishonorable, kind of like wearing a cone hat that says "dunce" in a classroom, instead of a permanent ban.

It has been said before why perma mutes don't exist:

It really breaks down into two categories.

1.) Helping players reform 2.) Shielding others from the behavior, at a cost.

We used to issue chat restrictions that essentially scaled indefinitely.

We were able to determine that after a certain point the penalty no longer helped with reform. The 10-game and 25-game counts for chat restrictions are based on data that they were both light enough, and felt strict enough to encourage people to understand their behavior is unacceptable in game and change it.

We also saw that the players in this 'large restriction' category defaulted to gameplay altering means of harassing their team. It caused an increase in feeding and trolling.

The sample size of this population and time frame is huge. Essentially the time spanning from the introduction of chat restrictions to the introduction of IFS.

So my question for you is, would you rather have more feeders and less negative chat?

Basically, it was tried, and it did not work.

This way people can learn a fair lesson not to be so belligerent all the time.

If they aren't going to learn from a 10-game chat restriction, 25-game chat restriction, or 14-day suspension, what makes you think they will learn from a less harsh punishment?

Perma bans is just too harsh, it's way too uncalled for----for anybody! No matter what they say, honestly that's just wrong. Don't perma ban and just watch the waves come rolling back to the shoreline,

Riot doesn't want those player back. They want all players who have been banned to just leave:

We perma-ban players that we no longer want playing League of Legends, because they hurt the community. We do not want them to make new accounts. We cannot STOP people from making new accounts though.

That is straight from the architect of the behavior systems.

the community will probably much more moral.

I see no reason why it would be 'much more moral". It is a bit contradictory to say that people exhibiting (arguably) amoral behavior will bring more morality into the game.

Again, that is an MMO, not a team MOBA... But, more to the point, baiting people into a chat restriction will help, how exactly? So, instead of just not baiting them, and attempting to play the game as a team, you opt to put someone in the position where they will start with gameplay related negative behavior? That sounds like a can of worms I would like left closed.

Just saying... This way, no one even gets banned because language and other violations against the summoner's code won't even exist. I'm begging you guys, let people play without feeling like they're in a verbal cage,

How about playing as if you were sitting across from another human being, and not use the pseudo anonymity as an excuse to be a jerk to someone else?

and watch as the community flips around again.

Again, I doubt it will happen this way.

No, they aren’t going to let people like you keep ruining more and more games for others just because you refuse to display self control.

So much shit about swearing when swearing isnt even against the rules lol. And no, when i get flamed in WoW, I think to myself damn they expect a newb to be better? What a bunch of jackasses. And then I blame my friend for queuing us into a dungeon that im obviously not ready for lol. The guy flaming doesnt just "not care"... hes pissed he just wasted time trying to carry a newb lvl120 warlock. Why would I flame him back? Say what? Make some shit up about him in an insulting way and act like its true? Lol idk man. Its a non-point because you literally just made up an imaginary scenario where two people flame eachother and neither of them care? Lmao. One anecdotal, made up scenario that perfectly fits your point. Nice.

Anyways, league has had thousands of players quit the game due to its toxicity. So many potential players wont even touch the game because of its toxic reputation. Thats why the rules are there. Because believe it or not, a lot of people DO care that theyre getting owned in lane and some jackass wants to pour salt in the wound rubbing it in telling him hes garbage when hes already on edge from getting owned by a superior player. People DO have natural human emotions believe it or not. And sometimes, some guy just saying the right thing at the right time, ruins the entire experience for them, and leaves a bad taste in their mouth that prevents them from desiring to play another game. Fuck with riots playerbase, fuck with their bottom line, theyre gonna fuck with you.

Lastly, what do you mean by "flip" the community around at the end? Like, if Riot got rid of the rules for chat, what are you suggesting would happen? Tons of people would play the game, like they already do? What do you mean they would flip? It sounds like youre suggesting that everyone feels just like you or something. Remember, you got punished. The majority of players, who have never gotten a punishment btw, obviously arent in the same state of mind youre in right now. Remember that. You are biased right now because you got punished. So stop trying to lump everyone into your state of mind. So many assumptions about what other people would do and feel.
