I was playing with my friend and there was this bot lane who was very toxic the players names were <removed by moderation> and <removed by moderation> saying that Christians were brain dead and do not have a place on earth I feel very sadend by these actions and I hope the community can do something about this :)

Sorry you were having to deal with this, but the shaming of players on the boards isn't allowed per the Universal Rules so I've edited the names out. It's alright to discuss this sort of behavior and what you can do about it here, just as long as we're not name & shaming people. I do want to say that hate speech of any kind is not tolerated in this game and is punished severely, so your best course of action is to simply Mute and Report these people; Mute early so you don't have to listen to it any more than you have to, and Report in the post-game so Riot can take care of it.

I'm an atheist, but I don't go around insulting Christians (or people of other religions). There's just no reason for that; people are people. Sorry those people were being dorks to you. :(
I am not a Christian, or do I believe in any religion. if I told you you are wrong for believing x religion, my saying so should mean very little, if you are confident in your faith and relationship to the diety you worship. If you don't believe me then follow up with your preist, preacher, or spiritual leader. Likewise, strangers over the internet should mean very little to you.
How did they now you were a Christian? It's understandable to be upset by the remark, their aim was to be mean; report them on after the game and move on. Consider using all mute in future games.

Sad isn't it? Non-Christians claim we should be more accepting of other religions, but are hypocritical in that they go out of their way to bash us. Don't give up man, Jesus be coming back soon!
I am just curious, but how did your religious beliefs come up in a League game?
I mean, I am a Christian as well, and I can't remember mentioning it in a game ever. I have no objection to it, but it has never really come up.
