I have had catalyst control center for a long time and never been banned for it.

All it does is control things like antialiasing. Not really a huge effect on in-game play. They added recording capability..which people already do without consequence.

Literally nothing added effects your in game experience and as such should not have any effect on bans.

And saying skype...seriously?

Not sure this would be the reason. I have played more games on my smurf account in the last several months than I have on my main account and only my main account was banned. I have the latest AMD Beta driver as well. However I DID download and use that RAPTR program for a game or two, as well as CV (Only on my main account). So WHO KNOWS, maybe you actually are onto something.

It seems that Riot has made a lot of Bans in the past day for 3rd party exploits. I was banned about the same time and I have seen a lot of people complaining on all of the servers worldwide. I have never used 3rd party exploits and I was very shocked when I received the email. The only response to this I have seen from riot was, "99.999999% recent bans are accurate, but I have taken a few cases to investigate individually." This was on EUW but there are complaints everywhere. My assumption is that Riot has just implemented a new system for banning 3rd party users that is returning a lot of false positives that they have yet to investigate. I'm holding out that they will set things straight soon but there's no real way to know. For now I'm just regretting the money I spent on this game...

yup i am very annoyed i was banned for no reason riot please check my account this game i havent played in 4 months... i play 10 games and bam banned for freaking nothing thanks riot ... watch out windows 10 is coming out with a gaming enhancing features oh no time to ban everyone closest thing to cheating is following those stupid youtube guides to raise fps

I have an AMD graphics card, Catalyst (which is Radeon-settings now), and Raptr and wasn't banned or even warned. But I didn't optimze the game (because a Radeon R9 290X doesn't need any optimize when I play LoL). So that could be it. And everybody, who is a Nvidia fanboy: Only because Nvidia is more expensive it's not better. Probably the FuryX is as good as the TitanX.

Modern games now run off a game clock to sync everyone to have a similar gaming experience. Meaning no mater how powerful your computer runs your gonna get the same results as everyone else using the same OS. That said a crappy computer will still run like crap, so if your computer belongs in a museum, your gonna get some lag or worst your client crashing.

Raptr fucking sucks anyways, it will auto record your gameplay even if you have the feature turned off, causing freezes right before you die and fucking you over from outplays.

This makes me so happy that I switched to NVIDIA a month ago.

On topic; It seems like this is something that Riot or AMD should definitely look into. I've always had my suspicions about RAPTR and never bothered installing it due to my friends simply not using it.

EDIT: Come to think of it, it'd technically be considered your fault that you installed it. However, I could see an honest lawsuit here against AMD or MS, but even succeeding in that would be highly unlikely.
