I keep getting "troll" picks in unranked. You know the type (think Malphite ADC). Long story short, in team builder if i saw this nonsense I would leave for another team... To my knowledge you cannot do that any more. So here I sit, waiting out my "dodge" timer to save myself the hassle of nonsense.
Anomander3 votesOff meta is fine. Forcing someone to play a different role.... not ok. People get mad cause I will play urgot mid. Or Orianna adc. These are off meta. I am still playing the role I queued as. Also there is no adc role it is BOT.

..you know there was a time when Ashe was standard midlaner, so it was 'off meta' to play her bot. The game evolves by trying new things.
Also, Jayce was released as a jungler. How often do you see jungle Jayce nowadays? But there was a time when taking him top was off meta.

When's the gating end? When are you 'allowed' to play off meta? Should we start adding a rank cap on champs in other rolls than their 'main, meta pick'? "Sorry, you must be above Gold 2 to play Ashe in any lane except bot."
