Banned..What could I have done to been a better teammate

Got perma ban and well I would say I more than likely deserved it. Would really appreciate any feedback on what I could do to be a better teammate or prevent anything close to this sort of thing happening. Thank you in advance.

People don't appreciate having their every move judged, micromanaged, and commented on. There are ways to give advice and be helpful ("Hey Teemo, I think a [x item here] build would serve you better against a Singed"), but you were aggressively commanding to your team. It seems like every perceived mistake they make deserves five comments admonishing them, in your mind. Really, there just is never a good reason to be typing this much.

You aren't always going to have perfect teammates. Accept that they'll make mistakes, and move on.

Nothing even remotely close to being worthy of a permaban there, but people on this forum will likely tell you it was deserved anyway.

Definitely not worthy of a permaban unless what you did leading up to those 2 games (meaning what you did to get the chat bans, the 2 week ban etc was worse) was extremely terrible. But what SpiritofFizz said, I just keep my mouth shut and try not to complain or say anything even if someone does something stupid or dumb. It's not worth someone taking offense to it and getting a ban or reported.

The chat themselves were mild. Rude a few times, but to escalate to a permaban is impossible.

Most likely what happened is you had received prior punishments before for rude behavior. Chat bans and then a 14 suspension before reaching this point.

When you're teetering on a permaban being your next punishment, you have to be careful with what you say since you're already in bad standings on your account for negative behavior. A lot of what you said was negative, regardless of what your team was saying to you, so that's why you got permabanned despite the logs given to you not being that severe.

Remember, those two game logs do not determine the entirety of your ban. It is your overall behavior in multiple games, since the start of your first punishment, that determines how quickly you'll get banned. The system just pulls the last two chat logs of the games you were successfully reported on, but there is alot more that factors into that decision.

To be a better teammate, I suggest keeping chat to a minimum. Not that chat use is bad, but if you're prone to getting upset over chat, it's best to avoid it. Keep the talking to game related topics such as "Let's do dragon" or "We should ward". You don't need to go on essay length tirades on what your team should be doing. Just keep it simple and clean and you'll do fine in the future :)

I am sure I had some bad games as those were bad. I am just not sure what is worthy or what I could do besides not typing to my team. I know that not being able to type and just pings alone won't always help the game lead to a victory. I love to learn and gain more knowledge and exp from others. Just not sure what I can do. :(

if you already managed to get a 14 day ban (which we dont have the logs from, you were probably MUCH more toxic before you got that), there isn't much else you're allowed to fuck up before you get perma'd. you need to walk the straight and narrow 100%, none of this passive-aggressive XD IM PERFECT shit

To be honest there is probably a 99% you won't reform, and continue being toxic again. I'm not saying that as a way to put you down or belittle you. Most smokers try to "quit" many times per year but fail. Most people who are in an abusive relationship tend to take that person back multiple times.

If you ask my advice, the best way to reform would be to stop playing League so much and take up other hobbies. If you are doing other things (e.g snowboarding) then League will stop mattering and you won't care so much when an opponent performs poorly. I'm not saying you need to entirely quit, but at least find something else to do. Otherwise you will continue being toxic.

My suggestion is don't take the lone soldier wind blow me water run me out again position; it's condescending to the people you're matched with and you may not do anything actively toxic but it's annoying for everyone involved.

ive been punished about as much as tyler1.... ok not even close... but now when I'm thinking of complaining or saying anything negative even if its right I just erase it and keep playing because it really never helps and just distracts your you and your team and gets you banned </3.

Being negative (or in your case passive aggressive) doesn't help you win.

If you feel like you are getting pissed; take a break or play something else. Just vent elsewhere; For example, go beat your wife and yell at your kids to show Riot or an actual constructive method (drawing, reading, painting, play doh and etc.)
