Hello i was Recently Banned For "Toxic" Behavior Yet What I said To me doesnt Look the Slightest bit Of toxic I Know it Wont Be lifted But I just wanted To Get other peoples opinions on the matter

Certain words such as racial/homophobic slurs, encouraging self harm/etc. have been deemed by Riot to have no place in League. This means even repeating something someone else says will result in an instant 14 day ban under the zero tolerance policy.

You got banned by an automated system that is designed to detect hate speech. Unfortunately it can't see context. In the future, avoid repeating slurs and hate speech that other people say verbatim or you can be punished.

Be glad that u didnt get perma banned. My buddy got perma by just saying 1 racial slur ingame without ever being toxic.

As Chermorg mentioned, there is no reason to repeat homophobic slurs said by others.

Remember, your judged for your own words. If you ever repeat a homophobic slur the system notices it. All you had to do was mute the other person, not try to talk to them.

hey i was banned for 14 days and i had recieved any warning of any kind what so ever. no warning, no chat restriction, nothign just 14 day banned. but people can call me a %%%g nonstop and nothing happens to them

This looks like the automated system triggered because you used a homophobic slur multiple times.

Even when you're just quoting others, using terms like that will get you banned by the automated system.

Occasionally Riot will reverse a ban such as this, but it's highly unlikely due to their zero tolerance policy. In case they are willing to give you a second chance, I'll upvote to hopefully get some Red attention on you, and you can also try submitting a support ticket to Riot:

Just so you know, it's not necessary to repeat what others say, you can just report them after the game. One report counts the same as 9 so you don't even have to ask others to report them. It's better to not feed the troll with any attention, if you do then they will just troll and be toxic even more.

Regardless, you're probably skating on pretty thin ice now. It's better to not even repeat stuff like that when others say it to you. You're going to have to be more careful in the future.

EDIT: Out of curiosity, did you receive a game 2 or game 3 on your reform card?

I just found this post. I too was randomly 14-day banned...first offense..but I used the word %%ggot 3 times. I guess that's a no-no, but the guy flaming the other 4 members of the team will play on.

Way to go Riot. I'll think twice before buying skins knowing I'm now 1 report away from a perma ban...because I somehow skipped all the other tiers with over 3 years of not a single mute or ban.

Guarentee this log isnt the only thing that triggered the ban. Ive said stuff like this once every 15/20 or so games when i get triggered over someone being an ass towards me, and it doesnt even give me a chat ban, so Its almost 100% that youre consistantly flaming. Take the 14 day ban as a learning process to reform. If not cya later nerd.

Yes, you were toxic, in a way. You saw others being toxic and decided to retaliate by making it harder for others to play. You could've avoided the whole situation. For more bullshit reasons, it may have been that you got flagged for repeating what others said.
