Hi everyone. So I enjoy playing league a lot, especially with friends. However in one game, I decided to joke with my friend, Blitz and just make fun of him. He was fine with it and he laughed at it too, we were just messing around and having fun. I swore a lot though, it was directed towards him, and only him. Then, our vayne flames me for being 9/3 and being unable to carry. I told her I can't carry a 5/6 top or a 4/5 jungler. I also said Tristana isn't a hyper carry and that she is ignorant as sh**. All this happened in only the last 7 minutes of the game. At the end of the game, I was permabanned. It only showed me two games on my account and one game on my email(the one with my friend). I don't see how joking around is bad. Riots System just detects bad words and automatically bans you. I've been banned once for 14 days(completely deserved) my account and it was last year. I have not been reported for the past 3 months. It's just that I mess around too much when I play with friends. I also attached a screenshot of the 2nd game. I don't really see what's so toxic about it other than saying "kayle should lose ^.^" and quoting Kayle. But again, the system only detects bad words and I have no words for this but I really hope my account is retrieved.

I understand that I was slightly salty in the beginning of the game because I pinged Kayle and she got annoyed and left but she called me "an annoying little %%%%" and somehow got away with it. If I'm quoting her, then I'm toxic because the system detects bad words. At the end, I was chatting with a teammate and enemy team, what's so bad about that? You should also read my post.

Banter is allowed, if it actually was just banter, you probably will be unbanned once the right Riot employee knows. However, since it was a permaban, it means you had many prior infractions for toxicity.

Edit: After reading your post more carefully, I'm not sure Riot would reconsider the ban, as although some of it could've been banter, there was still "mild toxicity" towards other players.

Actually he only needs minor infractions once you have been banned for 2 weeks and not going the set amount of time which the punishment drops a tier (which can take something round like 9 months-year i think but not sur eon exact time frames for "punishment tier decay")

I've been banned last year for 14 days, and I admit that it was well deserved. However, this was totally not deserved in my opinion judging by the fact that they only showed me two games, one of which wasn't even extremely toxic and one that was with my friend. I haven't been reported for the past 3 months too.

If I were Riot, I would give you another chance. However, they might have had enough, and the little toxicity found in the game logs above was enough for them to ban. If you haven't yet, you should try appealing at player support https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/requests/new It'll take awhile, but they may lift your ban. Gl

In the meantime, you could make a smurf and try harder not to be toxic, and although banter is allowed, its commonly confused with real toxicity, so you should avoid banter in in game chat, especially if you have a history. Or, you could put stuff like "xD", "lol" or "jk" after to let Riot know you aren't being serious, but only do this on occasion and if you have a clean record.

Thanks. I hope they lift the ban as well. And as for the clean record, I'd say it's clean. 10 chat restrictions and 1 ban last year. Nothing for me this year.

That was last year. I haven't recieved another punishment since and yet I've committed "repeated punishments" according to support.

Something else to keep in mind: While joking around with friends is fine, as soon as there are random people in your game, you need to understand that they may not see the joke. And, if you are talking a lot, it can be distracting to watch the chat window with a bunch of non-game related comments scrolling past.

Permanent bans are not tossed out willy nilly. If you feel like you have been wronged send a support claim ticket to RIOT so they can help assist you with understanding or alleviating the ban.

How about you show the entirety of the logs? Bro, we SEE the slider bar on the right. You're only showing about a fifth of your logs.
